Sad. Pathetic. Bad pacing from start to finish. It's like the director started his vacation on Day 1. None of the jokes were hitting. Jason Momoa looks the part of Lobo, but I was not super-impressed--like he was projecting Aquaman more than anything. Liked Milly Alcock and the action/special effects were good enough, but that's about it.

Never thought something like The Flash would be better. The only good thing to say about it is that it is way better than the 1984 original, so whoopie for that. smh.

Extra rant. I see what James Gunn is gunning for, pun intended, but he may as well direct to get his vision on the screen. Please do not let Craig Gillespie near the DCU again. Then again, Gunn's plan is 'humanizing' the <expletive> out of the Kryptonians. Too much Kryptonite in your movies. Too much Kryptonite in your movies. Too much Kryptonite in your movies. Too much Kryptonite in your movies. And oh yeah. Add different evolutions of stars on top of that why dontcha? Good stuff. Fan freaking tastic. Whatever.
Does Momoa as Lobo not help it? I really want to Lobo movie with Momoa.

I want to watch it but I seen it was a Uwe Boll movie and he has made some of the worst movies ever.
Agreed. Expected more but still a good watch as it was free. I see that it is still available on Rumble, I just cast it to my tv from my iPad.

Wow! :omg:

If you hated it, I know it’s one to avoid.

So I’m not familiar with him in the comics so for someone being introduced to him from this movie? They can keep him lol. Not even his fault. His character just offers nothing.

Which is weird. The film
Plays like a Gunn film or tries too but one of Gunns weapons is building camaraderie amongst his characters like in Guardians and Suicide Squad. Suicide Squad features villains and he managed to build chemistry with those guys. Gillipsie or the writer probably shouldn’t have touched this project. Should’ve been a Gunn vehicle.

In my opinion, no. It’s like they simply threw the character into the lame chaos and said, “Look! We introduced Lobo into the new DCU! Isn’t that cool?” Momoa was only used as a bounty hunter with no layers to him.

At the very least they could have improved on the comedic timing of his jokes. It’s just my own experience but barely anyone in my theater was even chuckling at his lines.

Lobo is not just one of the biggest anti-hero characters for DC Comics. He ranks up there with some of the top anti-heroes for other comic book publishers. Plus, Momoa, like Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan in Green Lantern, literally fits the character visually. This was another swing-and-a-miss adaptation for DC.

I think I even read this was a dream role for him?

Man they wasted him and that character. They didn’t even get the anti hero thing down right.

Guys interesting with Gunn producing and Gillipsie directing…they give it to a first time writer.
Saw this on wiki:

She is collaborating with James Gunn on his DC Universe, screenwriting several films including Supergirl (2026), an untitled Teen Titans film, and an untitled Wonder Woman film.[3][4][5]

They may need to re think this.

Didn’t even know that guy still made movies lol….he keeps getting budgets I see.
Yeah..I do not get how he gets the budget and some of the actors in it.

As far as Uwe Boll movies, this one was better than average which means it is kind of Meh and if it became famous and took off, there would be plenty protesting it esp LEO's

Armie is tailor made for roles where he is just kind of a no charisma robot kind of guy like in this movie and the man from Uncle

Jason Mamoa just plays Jason Mamoa.

Not terrible but for me it was a big let down. Been looking forward to it as a WWII movie fan and it just felt really cheap or bad acting...just had a b movie feel to it. The story itself was interesting, but the execution of it was lacking IMO.

#1 on AMZN…

Obsession 9/10

This got a lot of hype on social media and it delivered. It ran a little long for my taste, but overall it was a really good movie. The main actress was awesome. There's a creepy tone to the whole movie and you are uneasy the whole time. The premise has been done before, but they execute it pretty well. If you're a horror fan, you'll like it.

This one is next on my list to watch. I also intend to watch Backrooms too.

It was more about me feeling really disappointed than hating it. Heck, I gave that 2015 Fantastic Four crap a 4 out of 10 and didn't hate it.

Now ask me how I feel about Taika Waititi directing anything in the MCU instead.
