Terrell Owens flat out dropped a lot of balls and was known for it that wouldn't have gotten better if he played in the physical time period that Hayes played in.

I agree Garrett was an awful coach and no way should he have lasted ten years here. But to be fair those 8-8 Garrett teams were saddled with some of the worst defenses in franchise history. Remember the Rob Ryan/Monte Kiffin/Rod Marinelli crap shows?

Romo and the offense was all that kept those teams from being 3-13 instead of .500.

The reason the rules were implemented is to enhance the passing game because the audience liked more scoring three yards and a cloud of dirt was not getting it.

Wasn't Kellen Moore the OC under Garrett ? ( Nuss was the QB coach, not OC)

Kellen was crit-fried here, but he went on to become the OC of a Super Bowl champ team on the Eagles, and now he's went on to become new HC of the Saints.

The only person on the planet who has ever thought Jason Garrett was worth hiring and keeping as a HC for a decade is Jerry.

It is incredibly telling that since Garrett left Dallas at the end of the 2019 season, no one since considers him HC material at any level. Not even at the college level. Was supposedly considered for the Stanford job, Notre Dame - even University of North Texas. And no one has hired him again as a HC.

Garrett is the poster boy for our owner being willing to waste the careers of several HOFers and core talent on a guy anyone on a couch could see was no leader of men.
