They’ve made a lot of improvements to NFL helmets since 2007 and have emphasized continued improvement so I’m sure there are less concussions presently than even 2 or 3 years ago.
They do not necessarily go hand in hand. I don't have CTE and I've suffered from depression. That's the case for millions, and I have to assume that includes NFL players. I'll admit I don't know what the NFL does specifically to assist players with depression, but if they do anything, good on them.
Doesn't matter. CTE isn't a product of concussions, specifically. It is the product of consistent, repeated head trauma.
Boston University CTE center has stated that suicide is not definitely linked to the disorder. In fact stage one is not even that big of a deal. Do we know why he was driving 143 mph? What else was in his system that may have caused him to commit suicide? All these millionaires crying about head injuries need to save their money or quit sports.

It's for sure true. Head trauma definitely leads to cte. All players pretty much have head trauma.
Of course head trauma leads to CTE. We weren’t discussing that.
They for sure care about more money. Players can be replaced with other players. Just like the gladiators in Rome.
It’s not an excuse it’s an explanation. Ultimately they are to blame. But these kids get programmed and brainwashed from pee wee and get molded….and when guys started waking up conveniently they started allowing NIL deals in college. Players can only blame themselves no one is gonna have sympathy for them.
They print money. They don’t have to lessen funding anywhere. Stupid to even suggest it.
Depression is a symptom for people that suffer from CTE it for sure goes hand and hand.

My point was that depression is not always caused by CTE.
My baby sister died of Brain Cancer in 2009 ...... I had a bunch of Gray Brain Matter Cancer shirts that I wore with her through the stuff ........ gave all but one to my nephew (her son) when he became a teenager ....... Cancer sucks ........ people worry about bird flu and covid meanwhile Cancer has been the real plague or our time.
Best they can do is 20 regular season games a year.
