Spagnola: Alas, Paying Respect to CMDR Prescott

Are you thinking Dak is as talented as Stafford?
What metric system are we using? Are we going by raw talent or are we going by what they use here to determine quarterbacks worth.... by using wins, losses, and wins and losses vs winning teams?

What are we going by?

Except Allen is WAY better than Dak. There isn't much of a comparison, really.
I don’t say Dak was better.
But that was not the point.
But I do not expect the negativity of some fans to comprehend it.

And by the way. How many SB rings does Allen have? Last I knew the same as Dak. That is how some fans compare QB’s. .

I don't think anyone would disagree with you about that.... but I'd take Kaepernick over Allen everyday of the week and twice on Sundays.

And that goes for the people who try and claim a QB can't be the reason a team loses.
Agree 100%. Let me know who’s said, “A QB can’t be the reason a team loses.” I need to note that.

Which is why he shouldn't have been playing.
Who would you have played? I loved Romo but at that point in his career, everytime he hit the field he was getting injured. So tell me Mr. GM expert you claim to be?

Seriously? Kaepernick was a one trick pony in the vein of RG3 who was exposed when defenses caught up to the pistol.

I'd take Prescott over Kaepernick.

Allen over both of them. By far.

Kneel down when you say that. Kaepernick the punk.

Which of these QBs are currently better than Dak?

Your criteria was playoff success. Anyone not on this list has never played in a conference championship game so they can’t be better than Dak by your criteria.

I’ve arranged them by current tier

“Elite”
Patrick Mahomes
Matthew Stafford
Joe Burrow
Lamar Jackson
Josh Allen

Second Tier
Brock Purdy
Jayden Daniels
Jared Goff
Jalen Hurts

Has Beens
Jimmy Garoppolo
Aaron Rodgers
Joe Flacco

Never Were
Case Keenum
Marcus Mariota
I really have no idea.

Id take Kaepernick over both of them because Kaep has shown he can lead a team to a Superbowl. Allen and Dak hasn't.

It could've been worse. We could have gotten stuck with max dollar contract quarterbacks who never won a playoff game before like Justin Herbert and Kylar Murray.
You’re putting Kyler and Justin in the same sentence? There is a huge difference my friend.

Both of them led teams who are winless in the playoffs. Is there a huge difference?
From that one scenario, no. But they are miles apart in talent. I’m not going to use their playoff record to judge them. Just like I won’t for another QB including Dak. Dak deserves criticism but not as much as he gets.

I dont have to show you anything

You responded to my post about Dak getting 60 million for a few cliches by bringing up Murray and Herbert neither of whom are close to 60 million

And im glad that even you think that is the group Dak is in: Herbert, Dak, and Murray
Murray doesn’t belong in that group and you’re nuts if you think he does. Lol

Again, Dak didn't receive the first highest contract at the quarterback in history. There have been other highest paid qbs before Dak and there will be other highest paid qbs after Dak that won't be the best quarterback in the league.

Of course I knew you weren't going to show me anything, because if you did, your lil narrative would die quickly. To conclude, only you believe Murray and Herbert is in Dak's quarterback group.
Herbert is but Murray isn’t close to either of them.
