News: Fox: Tony Romo arrested in Milwaukee for OWI

Lol, ok, because I said he has a goofy arrogant grin and I think going to Cabo during the bye week before a playoff game was a bad look? Aren’t you sensitive?

I would love to hear what you would call me if I expressed my feelings about people I really do hate.
You just admitted it

It's clear he does a fraction of the work he did early on. Romo is a lazy guy. I absolutely think CBS should do that.
It's funny because at the start Romo would be predicting plays and be right 90 percent of the time. And still people complained that he was "ruining the suspense" when all he was doing was giving the QB's point of view.

I don't know if CBS told him to dial it back or not, but the past couple years Romo has transformed from insightful analyst to Captain Obvious. I would not be surprised if he loses his spot in the booth now.

That’s why I’m like I don’t know if the complaints are warranted. He still sounds good to me. I feel like complaints always come when you’re doing something right.

I could be wrong but smiling for a mug shot tells me he was drunk.
LOL..... Should you smile or not smile for a mug shot is an interesting question. If you smile, people will question whether you are taking the arrest seriously. If you don't, we've seen some who looked downright scary, angry, or wasted.

3 Beers can get some people to .08

For some people it only takes 2 beers.

For me its not worth drinking so little when im out with friends and driving.

The driving services have definitely helped but sometimes not practical nor available at times.....the juice ain't worth the squeeze although thousands of people do it every day.

As an A&P mechanic the level was .02 for random breathalyzer tests.....couldn't even take some cough medicines or mouthwashes, lol

the real question is this just a stupid mistake or does he have a problem?
There's no question about it it was a stupid mistake when you're worth between 70 and 80 million dollars no excuse for not getting a ride
That said if he ends up losing his 17 million a year job at CBS over this mistake I would say he has a problem.

Funny but most people on this site at one time or another have driven after having a drink. Do be so quick to judge.

Let the one that has not cast the first stone.......and here come the fireworks. :)
This . It’s annoying how judgmental society has become. I’m not condoning Tony’ s behavior but it’s irritating that people can’t wait to get on their high horses

I hate to see happen to Tony Romo. Sure, he made a huge mistake driving under the influence, but most of us here have made similar mistakes. And yes, I understand all the terrible things that could have happened. I hope he's learned a lesson and gets help if necessary. None of us know the facts and severity of the incident.

Somebody get the noose

Do retired players get those benefits?

Actually did a google search and the players have not got free car services in a long time. And I don't know that retired players ever did. However, Romo can certainly afford to call an Uber and even go with the Premium level.
Yes....the thousands upon thousands of ex players get NFL limo chauffeurs.

I wonder what Sir Caleb Downs (Yes, he’s be knighted) thinks about this? His opinion is all that should matter.

Have not heard any details on why they pulled him over in the first place was he speeding or some other traffic infraction.

Does CBS want to get rid of his contract and paid somebody to watch how much he drank and then tell the cops to pull him over and everybody gets paid to help get rid of his 17 million a year salary.
Nothing's legitimate anymore wouldn't surprise me if he was set up

That said never had a drink in my life don't know why just never had the desire.
Beyond that my son-in-law's sister was killed in a head-on collision by a drunk driver who survived the accident of course.

So I really don't have much of a tolerance for drunk driving.

Romo could have been set up but he is still a full-blown idiot for driving drunk jeopardizing his own life and other people's.

46 is Way beyond old enough to know better along with a ton of money to get a ride and do the responsible thing.
