News: Fox: Tony Romo arrested in Milwaukee for OWI

I agree, that's why I called his actions stupid. My only point was if Romo was just a 46 year old steakhouse manager and not former Cowboys QB nobody would care about this right now.
Well he isn’t.

This forum is extremely fast to jump on 20 something year olds for being “stupid” “irresponsible” etc. Romo deserves that same level of criticism especially considering this baffoon is a father and 46 years old.

And my Romo fandom is well documented so unlike others, an idiot is an idiot regardless of how high level of a QB he was for my favorite team

If you think that is "hammered" you don't drink or know anyone that does. Not real drinkin' anyway. Can he stand still enough for a photo? NOT "hammered".
lol, being able to stand is a low bar to pass. Usually can't stand is right before passed out. Not that I am speaking from past experience, cough, cough.

Agreed. I always supported Romo but this is the stupidest thing he's ever done.

Thankfully nobody got hurt outside of his reputation.

I have found most people "hammered" can BARELY stand. But ya...I suppose it's all relative.

My point? Romo isn't "hammered" in his mug shot. In fact I seriously doubt he's even .08.

But...when the facts come out I do have my pitchfork and flamethrower handy.

By all accounts a good dude
Was a very very good QB for us
We can say whatever we want but he has my respect because he (like Dak) has worked for everything he has received
Hope he gets through whatever is going on and gets his life back on track

Again...I'm baffled about what he's done. "Oh I don't actually know exactly what he did but this loser needs to get his lfie back on track".

You see...I did bother to look up what "OWI" is in Wisconsin.

Nothing at all. This thread is all about Tony Romo getting pulled over for no reason, getting arrested for no reason, getting charged with DUI for no reason, and having his mug shot all over the internet for no reason.
Shouldn't we let the facts come out FIRST? Either way?

Arrested means guilty to you people?

This is soe crazy ship here. Unbelieavble.

I'm not usually vindictive, but I hope if it happens to you (for whatever reason) they just throw you in solitary, no trial and be done with it.

So...what is OWI in Wisconsin?
Listen I am not here to argue semantics and whether or not he is guilty or not. The bottom line is he got arrested for driving under the influence.

Whether or not he was actually "drunk" is not the point. He put himself in this situation. A 46 year old man with a wife and children and a high profile job at CBS Sports that could now be thrown away.

He could have hurt himself or others. Yes, maybe it was just a one-off mistake. But it was a mistake that was altogether avoidable.

I’m finding this hilarious that folks are attempting to rationalize and “wait for the facts” when it comes to Romo while not giving many other current cowboys players that same grace.

It's not "semantics" if you do not know what actually happened.

So in YOUR head..anyone arrested is automatically guilty.

That is messed up.

What other Cowboys players?

You remember what every single thiing every other person ever said about it?

The mug shot was not a great pic. Maybe he always looks that way without the tv makeup? Regardless, nobody hurt and I doubt he will put himself in that situation again. I chalk it up to poor judgement at the time.
