Pretty much needs to be consistent and prove he was not a one hit wonder. Is the consensus.

I con't think he has anything to prove. I think he picks up where he left off. A proven commodity to the offense.

Good to know -- I had the impression that he was more interested in the money than anything else. Here's hoping that devotion is for real and not reliant upon his monetary advancement. I'll make an honest attempt to be more trusting if that devotion proves itself again in competition. We'll see.

There are too many ways to creatively manage the cap to default to how are you going to afford someone.

It's interesting that every time we get a top 10 player, the first thing a big part of this fan base does is try to figure out how we can ship them off for unproven draft picks.

That's not what they're saying but in fact, they're talking about keeping him long term. Many here, in fact are in favor of trading him -- that's the devotion so many of his so-called fans are demonstrating. Let's see if his efforts in the upcoming season are deserving of consideration. I'm hoping they will be.
