News: Fox: Tony Romo arrested in Milwaukee for OWI

Thanks! I have edited the post.

Also...if possible...please put this one in as well. Some direct advice for Floridians. Hayslett as a great person and good lawyer...a legit opinion...up until last October...don't blow. Might get one chance (and hopefully that's enough!). This is why I said maybe Romo miscalculated not blowing. Until recently...that's what you did.
I am afraid not. CowboysZone does not do Facebook-related info.

MILWAUKEE —
A search warrant obtained by 12 News shows former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo had bloodshot and glassy eyes when Milwaukee County deputies pulled him over last week on Interstate 43 in Milwaukee.

The search warrant said Romo's vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed, passing other vehicles during heavy rush hour traffic in the Marquette Interchange.

"While speaking with Romo, I detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath," the deputy wrote, according to the search warrant.

According to the search warrant, Romo said he was coming from a golf course and heading to meet his parents. He told the deputy "he did not have anything to drink."

Could be. Are you saying he DIDN'T make this up in his head? Condeming Tony with ZERO evidence...is not being "accurate. It's making things up. It's a LIE. That's why I'm "like this".
Of course I made it up. But so did the post making up "ifs" to exonerating Romo, or at least trying to insert conspiracy doubt, that I responded. He's totally free to do it and I'm free to offer a contrary scenario. All speculation either way. But there was no "wait for the facts" directed there, only at my post that somehow triggered an injury within you, prompting your "miserable sow" reply. This is what they call a "tell," bro. A good, old fashioned unhinged tell for all to see (Rockport included). You are in no position to lecture anyone on anything at this point when neutral words do this to you. Speaking of neutral, we now know that's not your interest here so drop the act.

"... Romo placed his phone on the rear of his vehicle to record the traffic stop."

The deputy said Romo was taken to the Milwaukee County Jail sallyport where Romo "performed poorly" on a standardized field sobriety test and refused a preliminary breath test. The search warrant said during the sobriety test Romo could not keep his balance, stopped walking, started too soon, missed the heel to toe, and made an improper turn.
I hope we get to see the dueling videos.

I would love to see the video from the phone
I am guessing the officer did not have a body cam

According to the WISN report, Romo was pulled over at 5:30PM.

per google maps: Approximately 35–40 miles (about 45–55 minutes driving time under normal conditions).
  • Golf tournament location: West Bend Country Club in West Bend, Wisconsin (northwest of Milwaukee).
  • Arrest location: Southbound I-43, just south of the Marquette Interchange

That would infer that he left the golf course no later than 4:45PM?

Refusing a breathalyzer if you haven’t had anything to drink is terrible advice and hopefully no one here gets arrested for following it.
As of now you should seriously consider breathing no matter what.

My only problem...is even innocent people get arrested. Innocent people go to jail.
