The #1 weekly game on CBS will be fine either way. Like others have said in the other thread, this incident simply provides CBS an out from Romo and his contract IF there were any questions or doubts beforehand.

Oh, I am not saying the decision will have some decisive repercussions for CBS broadcasting their games. I am referring to their decision to end their professional relationship with Tony Romo and begin a new search for the most compatible partner for Jim Nantz.

No doubt, they will do so if needed and will very likely be extremely successful with a new combo. However, it will not be an easy task for them. Nothing rarely is when a network must scramble to fix a problem appearing out of the blue that never existed before.
