Steele struggles continue

And Ferguson will be forced to help out so CD and Lamb can get down the field. That is not his fault.
Bro what’s with hijacking the thread into a Ferg thread lol?

If his athleticism doesn’t return then ferg probably should be a block first type who can chip and play underneath routes.

Lol. Watching "fans" react to a scrimmage.

We were the third ranked offense last year. With "scrubs" like Steele and Guyton.

Know why we are better on defense? Because we didnt draft another first round OL. Or didnt go out and sign some over priced "name" that is boarderline retired.

Steele is fine. Guyton is fine. We are developing some backups.

Take a breath.

I agree and unfortunately Ferguson has to bail him out making Ferguson appear the same way.
Love FERG, hoping for a big bounce-back year from him. With D's trying to keep our WR duo in check, should leave him plenty of opportunities - if our OT's hold up for DAK.

Yeah, those two.

Need to again draft RT or LT again next year and figure out if Guyton belongs on the left or move him to RT pay him less and draft his replacement. I don't think there's any other way around this.

Even since Steele came back from his injury he has been a bum.

And in 2023 we had a top 5 defense in both yards allowed and scoring. Despite that our defense got exposed multiple times against stronger offenses including the playoff game against GB because we were deficient at just a couple of positions.

I'm not saying the offense is going to be bad this year, but by just looking at the ranking and saying were fine with questionable tackle play is for fools. The aggragate was very good, but this 2025 offense
had its struggles as well situationally. The red zone struggles are well documented as well as the offense going silent for full halves at times. Teams like Denver, LAC, Chicago, even Arizona made this offense look pretty ordinary.

Its a fairly safe bet that this is a top 10 offense once again, but I won't sit here and pretend like it cant be upgraded and truly be a well rounded group either.

Sounds like it wasn't all bad. Gave up a couple of sacks, but we also scored on several throws on which his blocking held up. A little surprised that the running game to that side was not going as well as on the left side.
A couple of sacks is pretty bad, imo.

and we sucked in the red zone and got a lot of the points in garbage time
see how that works?

WHO ARE YOU GOING to replace him with lol
Between Schott, Riley and Adams and even Tyron chipping in, Im sure this group can do a great coach 'em up job with any and all offensive linemen on the roster.

And as for Steele and Guyton...
They are gonna be like a pass blocking force field that no dee lineman can get through by the time the season starts.

You just watch.

Cowboys!

They’ll have to make a trade then because they can’t put a rookie out there.
..geez, sure hope they find someone.

Can you imagine Dak going down, because Steele whiffed his block?

They could get a TE to help him, but then that puts all pressure on CD and Pick.

Its a tuffy.
