Top 3 are a lock.

James should be given a longer leash. Was a raw 20 year old rookie playing on a tire fire defense.

Barron, I think could make the 53 this year, but I feel like the remaining scrimmages and PS games will determine if he gets the nod or Curtis Robinson.

I think right now he is a playable backup, I dont think we have the depth to knock him off the roster. Barron making it wont mean James doesnt. There is Robinson, but I think he might be more of a Goodwin replacement as a gunner

Agreed on playable backup for James. Think he's close to a lock too.

Think for Barron it'll come down to a numbers game elsewhere, like Safety, and if one of those guys making it there could be a Goodwin replacement.

I think after the scrimmage he has a very good shot. 3 ints is impressive. Could also be a practice fluke too where an offense is just disorganized so early in camp. He is definitely a big preseason watch

Apparently he had a day yesterday. Obviously not to the extent of 3 picks a practice, but if he keeps bringing it in that manner hes got to be on this roster.

Robinson is a pretty safe bet to make the 53. He's going to be a core ST player.

They will have some big decisions to make at several positions on defense.
But these LB's are the top ones for sure.

as MLBs right? because Eze and Gray, Williams, Houston would be considered OLB in the 3-4 scheme.

I thought he was a lock just because he's a young guy who got a lot of reps last year (like Damone Clark kind of).

But I saw that Robinson was wearing the green dot with the twos the other day and that's certainly not promising for James.

Led the team in tackles with 91, and despite the defense being a dumpster fire, that number was still 2nd among all rookie NFL linebackers last year - while aged 20.

In a team with next to no LB depth, that sounds like a lock to me.

Inside linebackers. One of the spots is the mike the other is supposedly the jack in this system but it's similar to a will.
