coaches succeed through being transparent with their players. Jimmy was transparently ferocious. Pete Carrol was transparently positive in an infectious way.

Just an affable get along to get along type of coach, wasn't the first second or third consideration and kinda tripped and fell into the job much to the fanbases dismay. But just had a little something in how he related to the players and handled the big egos in the lockeroom and the front office.

Maybe we can harness a bit of the same lightning.

Some of you guys are really reaching for things not to like about the guy. His freaking cap on backwards? Who the F cares about stupid S like that? Seriously grow up kids.

I haven't seen or heard anything that makes me wonder if he can't handle the job. He's super smooth in interviews. He communicates very well. He has a long history of NFL experience. His dad was a great coach. He knows what he's doing. He seems to have a plan and he's running it. He knows he needs good coaches around him and he's brought in some really good ones. He may come across a little goofy at times, so what? Who doesn't? And really that's ok, as long as the players like and respect him that's really all that matters.

I worry more about JJ interfering than Shotty messing things up.
