Dak's interview with Albert Breer (SI)

I just wrote it plainly...

Never mind.

CowboysZone.
you wanted to go off on a tangent, which is fine, and your point is understood. his analogy was fine though. he's achieved nearly everything he's ever believed he would since a young age, and is using that fact to continue believing the ultimate goal.

‘Why is it, honestly, such a big deal even saying it?’

Maybe because you go into this mode whenever the playoff starts

Weren't you a huge Romo fan?

Okay.

To the casual fans, you’re correct.
Definition of a "casual fan" (not mine)...

"A casual fan is a relaxed viewer who follows a sport, team, or entertainment franchise only during big events or active seasons, spending less than two to five hours per week on content without deep-diving into statistics, off-season news, or online community forums."

Sounds like no one on this board, whom you are contorting to reference.

What you meant by that was a fan that you don't agree with, "isn't as good as fan as you", and "needs to find another team". A "hater" in your own words.

Glad I could clear that up for you, Mr. fan who goes all milk carton and disappears when things go wrong (which ironically is a sign of being a casual fan).

I was trying to be nice by saying casual fan. Ignorant fan is what I really mean but I’ll get reported for saying that.

Honestly you say Dakota? Fine, I'll respond as to why IT'S DUMB TO START TALKING SUPERBOWL IN AUGUST:

1. There are young, impressionable barely-men on the roster who are easily influenced and distracted by such talk
2. During the season when every team starts to hit a rough patch, you don't want these quotes thrown up in EVERYONE'S face
3. Expanding on #2, you're writing checks that neither you nor your teammates can cash - they have to answer for your stupid words
4. You should first win your division, secure a playoff spot, win a home playoff game....AND MAYBE THEN YOUR WORDS WILL RESONATE

For the 40+ years I've watched the NFL, only 1 or 2 coaches openly talked SB this early....and they all fizzled out and failed. Smart coaches understand TEAM PSYCHOLOGY and never introduce a concept they can't manage.

Dak is now flailing...trying to lean into his insecurity. It won't work.

huh? it’s a perfectly fine analogy. you’re missing the forrest from the trees
You're missing the whole damn planet. Dak has no receipts for any of this stuff...he needs to shut up about it.

Been married 10 years, promising to buy a house...can't even get approved for a loan. BABY STEPS.

Sounds more like dak has been smoking rehashed hash.
LOL....nah he got that skunky street stuff. If he was on the good stuff, he would be honest and open with no insecurity. He might even laugh at himself. Instead the not-so-quiet laughter after he makes his statements is ill-concealed.

This is such a backwards take.

Leaders state the mission repeatedly, especially to the young and impressionable

The only place this kind of thing is an issue is here where it seems the only way to lead is based on throwback concepts from the 1970s.
