Nate newton was talking live from camp and his version of events was different than a lot of other places.

I don’t know exactly how much weight his opinion matters but his depiction was that the cowboys did ok, didn’t get totally pushed around but it wasn’t this one sided cowboys moment like some are making it to be.

He said the rams completed at one point 7 passes in a row ( I haven’t fact checked this) during first team scrimmage. He said it was a much better showing for us than in years past but we still had a lot of work ahead of us

Hopefully, what you see will not be the 27th mirage seen since February 1996. 2003-2006 was the last time it looked like players adopted any semblance of their head coach's image. Otherwise, rosters have been reflections of the guy who hired himself a head coach.

I agree but I can think of one exception. I thought the 2014 team had a chance. Really embraced the "us against the world" mentality and was a really physical bunch. And a "Dez caught it" play shy of the NFC Championship against a Seattle team they had already beaten that season.

Not trying to give you a hard time, but it's laughable to think Dak doesn't concern himself with stats or individual accomplishments.
Until he tacks some "skins on the wall" (playoff success), that's all he's got.

To hear his name and "team first" combined in a sentence reminds me of the term he used during his last contract negotiation:

Dak has thrown more picks in practice and a scrimmage this year than the entire brother hood combined

This team seems different from last year's team in the EARLY part (not anointing them, just praising). I look back at a Garrett coached team, the players seemed to play in the image of their coach. There wasn't any confidence, we seemed ok with just being ok, teams seemed to get under our skin, and we didn't push back.

Yesterday in the scrimmage, I saw GP in full dog mode torching the Rams and letting them know he did it. You saw BSF catch a touchdown and he celebrated in his own way, Flournoy as well! You saw our LB get ints and he let them know that he got them by tossing the ball in the air.

Now we know it's just a scrimmage and we have a lot to work on. Having confidence early, goes along way. Maybe someone from the coaching staff said HEY we got pushed around last season, let's not be bullied, let's be the bully!!

I like this confidence SO FAR that was displayed, I hope they continue to be fearless, play tough, but be smart! In a real game, we don't want penalties for going too far! Please give your input!!

GP in mid season form with the gun celebrations, cone kickings and throwing footballs at guys. Every 3 great plays comes with an unsportsmanlike conduct

I mean.... This is a new season and we have new players and new defensive philosophy and the Eagles have new offensive philosophy and a couple of new players.

But Philly is the same team that we spotted 21 points to last season and came back and beat while we were fielding a 32nd ranked defense.

Honestly speaking, I don't fear Philly. I think we split with them this year, but its not like they're some indestructible cyborgs. If I recall, we were a few fumbles and/ or dropped passes away, from sweeping them last year.

All quarterbacks throw picks in camp practices and scrimmages. Its so meaningless that the Eagles posted Jalen Hurts interception from a clean pocket on the Philadelphia Eagles team page.

Obviously you're new to how NFL training camp works. Well welcome to the NFL training camp/preseason my friend, come on in and educate yourself.

Usually its ok when quarterbacks throw interceptions in training camp and practices, as long as they don't do it when the regular season starts. The really good quarterbacks don't throw interceptions in real games.

I'm thinking you're having trouble comprehending what talent is in the NFL. Adding massive talent does not necessarily mean adding stars, it means adding a bunch of talent.
