Well, of course, every team does. Those guys are extremely rare, though, all you can do is hope you found one in Malachi or EZ.We need another pressure player like Von.

Please explain. What does one have to do with the other? They play different positions.I think Mingo is gone, especially if we get Von Miller.
Who you cutting to sign him? Houston?M Lawrence is not ready you need a bridge veteran like Von.
For Von I would cut Land, Wheat, Marist and keep six outside linebackers/edge rushers on their 53-man roster, especially with defensive coordinator Christian Parker shifting toward hybrid 3-4 and 4-3 blended concepts that place a high premium on versatile rushers and space-defendersWho you cutting to sign him? Houston?
You are posting about a game of almost entirely back ups and players that wont be on the team.So yea, you are over reacting. What are your "I don't want to overreact to one preseason game, buuuut...." Thoughts?
For me, I think our defence looked much better than during the preseason last year.....and that was against depth pieces on a team that just won the SB. Well done!!!!
Also, I think Camden Brown may have won a roster spot. Question is, who is going to have to make way and what can we get for that player?
Don't think he has anything left at this point. Rather keep young guys w/ upside.
He did have 9 sacks last season.I mean, why not kick the tires for the remainder of preseason? If he still looks good, he makes the 53. If he doesn't, then he doesn't make the team. Plus, the other upside is that he can teach our younger guys during the remainder of preseason.

Well, it's more like he'd have to teach him to run a 4.42 forty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Not only that, but Von could teach Lawrence. He'd do well to pick Von's brain while he's here.

Since everyone is talking about Camden Brown, and rightfully so, I'll mention Julius Wood. I loved what I saw from him. Instinctive, fast to the ball, good tackler and hits hard.
He's only listed at fourth team on the depth chart the Cowboys released, but considering how he played plus the fact I've come across several reports during camp of how good he's looking, he could be an intriguing candidate for the 53, though numbers at safety might make it tough.
As for the defense as a whole, as expected, they played pretty vanilla, but I was looking for whether they'd play their assignment well, maintain lane/gap/coverage discipline, and tackle well on first contact, all things that point to good coaching. I thought they addressed those things fairly well. Not saying there weren't issues, but at this stage, I'm just looking for how well they play the fundamentals and know their assignments as a unit, and individually, how particular guys are showing speed, instincts and making plays.

It scares me at times what actual humans write. I fear for the future of humanity. That would have been more succinct -- but AI-generated. What I wrote would seem more like an actual human wrote it.
I think you need more than six at this point @gimmesix
It was refreshing to watch compare to how they’ve looked in previous years preseason games. Wins and losses don’t matter but what does matter is how they play. How they look. I loved watching Brown break out like he did. He’s too good to be true right now so can’t wait to see more. Some good plays on defense as well. It was a fun game to watch after the first drives by both teams which was fugly. What are your "I don't want to overreact to one preseason game, buuuut...." Thoughts?
