I thought the D looked prepared and capable, unlike in years past. I was hoping I'd see that and I did so I'm happy.
The back up O-line was meh at best. Still room for improvement there.
Special teams still needs work.
The RB's looked pretty good. Davis and Blue especially. Mafah was meh.
Back up QB's weren't an issue so I guess that's good. I will say that the ball jumps off Milton's hand, wow! He has a cannon, but no touch? Howell looks like a back up. He's ok for a bit, but not for the long term.
The top 3 WRs CD, GP and Flournoy are locked in as evident by their absence in the game.
Brown made 2 really great catches for TDs and has been talked about all throughout camp. I can't see them passing on him unless he falls off a cliff. Would he make it to the PS? IDK?
MVS is washed up and only a vet camp body. He will be cut.
A Smith is a draft pick has some real juice so I think they will want to keep him around. They may try to sneak him to the PS though, and I'm not sure he would make it either.
Mingo is a solid vet back up. I think they'd really like to keep him. But they will not be able to keep him, Brown, Smith and Turpin. 6 is a reach this year and 7 is out of the question. Could Turpin be the other odd man out?
It's good to see that deciding on depth pieces will be very difficult for a change.
