In a normal circumstance yes, but the cap hit would hurt so it be better to salvage it and make him the swing tackle or back up.

At this point, I don't think that pointing out the shortcomings of a player who hasn't changed in 5 years is going to accomplish squat. The sooner they address it, the better. A vet rental works if they think the guys in the queue can be groomed for the role.

Not sure about this. We had a historically bad defense. This board would have rioted lol. We did draft Drew Shelton tho so we didn't completely ignore it. Not sure how he is going to pan out tho.

I mean I get the front office using most resources on defense. The offense was a top 5 unit. Defense was 32.

Infatuated by willing to take a price but maybe. They probably didn't think he'd get worse. Not saying it was a good choice but only reason I see they did it. They gambled and lost.
