RB: Short position on 53?

My guess is you will have at least 3 which wouldn’t be “short”

Javonte, Leupke (no idea why he is the untouchable golden boy, but he is), and I would like Malik to make it.

Then I would imagine they keep Blue as well. Which would make 4.

Mafah may get on the practice squad. But I don’t think he’s a player you have to worry about keeping. You can find guys like him off the street.

I think Izzy has overtaken Davis. Izzy tied for RB3 on their chart.

He’s super fast and was a KR at Pitt.

They could go with Williams, Davis, Leupke. Call up a RB from the PS on game days.
Rather it is Izzy, Blue or Mafah. If they keep 3 RB's on the PS. Which is doubtful.

I got a feeling the are gonna cut Blue...or put him on IR with that shoulder injury. Was never impressed with Mapha to begin with...think he's gone too. They may roll with only 2 RBs that first week....think that 3RD RB is gonna come via trade or waivers. Names I'd keep an eye on...Benson in Arizona...Kendre Miller New Orleans. But I think Davis makes the cut...he's earned it.
Zero chance we trade for a backup RB.

Depends on Blue. If he can handle the role they have in mind for him, I don’t see a trade for a RB.

I hope the rumored trade for a backup is about OT. Unless Blue is a disaster that’s going unreported, I’d give him a shot.

There’s really nothing wrong with Williams/Davis/Blue/Lupke. Mafah will probably be back on the PS.

The passing threat and the interior OL ought to provide ample running room for that crew to be good enough.
