Contract negotiation w/Lions didn't meet his desires so he became a free agent. Duncanslo brought to my attention he had a past chronic shoulder injury.
But I saw that he has managed this shoulder very effectively the last few years not missing hardly any time.
He would be an extreme starter upgrade over Guyton from day one at left tackle regardless of his shoulder.
He is far and away worth the risk for the management to pull the trigger.

They should do it NOW and try Guyton at Steeles RT spot.
They should do this yesterday.

I want him here and give said so, but yeah his hangup was money, and if he wants 10+ you can’t be paying a backup that type of money,

He will catch on somewhere for like eight, probably close to home, which ain’t Texas, although another mil or two could change that. Definitely a situation where he will end up with the highest bidder, and Stephen Jones is not at all a match for that line of thinking, especially this time of year. Stephen has assessed a value to you, and you aren’t getting a dollar more.

They aren’t giving him double what they gave Miller, nor should they.

I’m just hoping someone decides to cut someone making a little too much money that maybe got outplayed by a younger guy making nothing. Maybe they can pick up that player after cuts, but I still say that they think they are fine at the position.

The coaches may or may not think that, but that’s what Jerry and son want to believe, so that’s what they will be told. I think the swing is Thomas. Shelton can’t linger on the PS, so he is a likely 53 guy who doesn’t dress.

Its going to depend of what he is looking for. If he still wants to get paid like an NFL starter, the Cowboys are going to he out. If he is willing to take back up money, he would be a good fit. I think if he was willing to take back up money, he would be on a roster right now. He is probably just waiting for an opportunity to replace an injured starter

At some point, these fa still available either have to drop their price or risk being out of the league.
