Barham is a stud.
That he is.
Barham is a stud.
Would most likely be a RB by committee situation because idk if Davis could give you 25 carries a night for an extended period of time, but 12-15 carries as the lead back? Yea I think Davis could do it no problem. Williams, Davis, and Blue would be my three backs as of right now. Mafah had a really good TD run but hes getting outplayed by Davis who is almost 30 pounds lighter showing more power in his runs when Mafah is supposed to be the big power back. Think he makes it to PS tho.I didnt see the game...and it's good to hear you think Malik Davis secure #2RB position. But is Malik Davis a true #2 RB that can step up and take the hits and stay healthy if Williams goes down... Just curious if you think the Cowboys are in the trade market for a RB#2 or not....Personally, I think Malik Davis is a good #3 as I view RB#2 as someone that can step up for 17games if Williams get hurts.
Let's add Shotty and Defensive coaches to good list. This team just looks much better coached and prepared to play.
We need to look at trading some of our players-is there a market for them-I am thinking Howell and Mingo as a couple of possibilities. Won't get much but still welcome draft capital
One thing that sticks out to me, and yes, it is ONLY preseason:
This team just looks "clean". And by that I mean not just in the penalty department. Just that everything looks clean and smooth. Everyone knows the play call, offense and defense. Everyone knows what they are doing and where they should be going. Little to no miscommunication. No blown assignments. When the opponent makes a big play it's because they earned it, not because of a Cowboys mistake.
Let's hope this carries over to next month.
Maybe, but he was reaching out before he touched down (I believe) and probably shouldn't have taken the chance, IMO.True, but did they call that a fumble? My wife and I were talking about that. She said, that's not a fumble, the was tripped up and as soon as the ball or his arm touched the field, it should have been dead.
It will be interesting to see how the RB position shakes out. Davis has clearly made his case as the #2 back behind Javonte Williams.I don't think he's bad by any means, but I don't think he's special.
Also, that fumbling problem he has drags down an average running back into below average.
Milton keeps the QB backup job..........
He has to be given a roster spot.
You absolutely cannot get rid of Joe Milton. His ceiling is as high as they come and he keeps improving.
Hes too valuable to cut for nothing.
If Joe Milton develops accuracy like hes doing now, along with the natural progression of reading defenses he’ll be starting somewhereHe has to be given a roster spot.

If the team has a good first month of the season the FO could invest in a player thinking we have something going, I thought a LB would be a need but after watching Barham I'm more inclined to look for OL help/depht or even CB. Passrush is always a need but I'm afraid the cost is too high.

He’s slow. Got chased down by a LB.Camden Brown is slow but has great hands. He looks like he runs with a limp.
The defense looks well coached.I think OT would be the best place to get a rental. I think we're okay on pass rush, and I trust Parker for DBs
The defense looks well coached.
