Stock up/down

Leupke might make it to the practice squad.
I don’t know how that works since he was extended. I would think the cap ramifications apply, then they can resign him at his actual worth if both sides agree.

Dang the guy already had his number stolen. I don’t know here. I like the idea of a FB but if they don’t use him what’s the point?

I’m not anti Leupke. But he doesn’t seem to get very many snaps at full back or RB.

Revel looks like he's on the come. That said, he's in need of time and reps. He looks out of sorts now and then.

Same. If they lose someone in order to keep him, at least use Lupke in the offense. I realize he plays ST but I can’t use that as a reason to keep someone around. If you can start on the 22, you can figure out ST.

Again, it’s not anti-Lupke, but he seemed like something that MM had going, and he is long gone. Why they extended him I have no idea, but it was just after the Micah trade so I guess Jerry had money to spend. I think he was guaranteed five million, and there’s no way to justify that. Hey I’d love to see a FB in the offense, but it’s not gonna happen, and we are finally in a position where there is more talent (depth wise at least) than chairs when the music stops.

We need speed at RB
Practice squads are full of speedy guys. We need hands, vision, steady feet and reliability at RB2.

Blue might win a footrace, but I think Malik Davis is the better football player right now.

Will he make it to the practice squad, as a 4th round pick? That’s probably where he needs to go.
I’ve been thinking the same thing.

If he’s that bad and needs that much work before he’s NFL ready, maybe you do risk exposing him to waivers to get him to the practice squad?

Actually he was used more than I thought last year. 250 offensive snaps (21 percent of offensive plays) in addition to 241 special teams snaps (49.6 percent of ST plays).

If you want offense only he was used for around 15 plays per game last season. Again, not a lot, but he does see the field.

...my eyes said, Blue/Mafah should be backs 2/3.

Kunts (TE) had impressive night, but you know could be an anomaly. Like Barron, three picks now zippo.

Milton looking like QB2. Lots Jags everywhere, with occasion splashes.

Not sold on Williams yet, but could be serviceable as rotation piece.

#6 WR looks like keeper. (forgot the name)

Shelton has always been a project from the get go.

Maybe he or Thomas can give a few players or series here and there if needed.
The OL situation is probably not as dire as some think.

I didn’t think a zero was possible; I thought like the SATs you got credit for simply filling in your name.

In seriousness, Shelton was noticeably bad. I tried telling folks right after we drafted him that any notion of him potentially competing for a starting position was a total pipe dream.
He lost those points with his performance.

Mingo- He is making the team. Whenever he gets good QB play he shows out. And he’s a beast on ST. Do we keep 6 or try to sneak Brown onto the PS or fake an injury to stash him?
This is the sub-topic I am most eager for final cuts to decision, no matter how it works out. Right or wrong, I believe Camden Brown should not be an active roster casualty if it comes down to Jonathan Mingo and him. In my eyes, Brown has shown more wide receiver ability in his brief time at this level than Mingo has with Dallas and Carolina combined.

Mind you I only watched the first half:

Up:

Barham- he’s the MLB we need. Move Agent Zero back to WLB where he belongs and let’s roll.

Milton - Love his development. Enjoy the practice squad Howell.

Mingo- He is making the team. Whenever he gets good QB play he shows out. And he’s a beast on ST. Do we keep 6 or try to sneak Brown onto the PS or fake an injury to stash him?

Thomas- from my untrained eyes he looked much better on the right side. I wouldn’t be upset if he took Steele’s job. At least there is potential upside.

Davis - the clear RB 2. I think we go light and just keep him and Williams (and Hunter). Try to get Blue/Mafah/Izzy onto the PS.

Revel - future star

Down:

A few rookies need a redshirt year. Shelton and Moore and Smith.

Blue - see above. Just don’t see him making the 53.

Again, I only watched the first half.
Team may see it differently on Blue.
