I don't know that that's the entire truth. I think there were other factors that pushed the issue, like his podcast and the way he disappeared every year as the playoffs approached. Micah is certainly a rare and fantastic football talent, but he's small for his position and not durable. I'll go out on a limb and say 1) Parsons will never play a full 17-game season, and 2) Green Bay will not sniff the SB while Parsons is there. They paid him $50m per to put them over the edge and it didn't happen, and they are not the same team now that they were before they acquired Parsons. And they don't have him either.. I think it pissed Jerry off the way Micah blew off their handshake and sided with his agent, but I think all the other stuff made letting him go a lot easier. Dallas never won anything with Micah in town, and I'm glad Jerry didn't pay him $50m to stay. Micah got his bag and the debacle led to last year's historic defensive fiasco, which has caused Jerry to step back a little and do things a little differently. We haven't played a down yet and I don't know how the cheese heads are feeling, but Parsons got his money and a team he says he loves, and the Cowboys seem pretty pleased how things turned out. I guess we'll see.
