Have we become so used to Jerry that anytime he does bare minimum we praise him?

Genuinely curious, and this isnt to spark an angry debate.

This is a genuine question from someone that has seen this happen time and time again and wants to gauge why this happens here all the time.

Have we as a fanbase, become so used to Jerry and his family failing, that any time he does the BARE MINIMUM of his job description, we praise him for it?

Are we this conditioned by his terrible off-seasons that when he does literally the bare minimum of signing a guy on time or using FA the way everyone else does we celebrate it like we just won our 6th?

Why do fans who are justifiably upset and taking a wait and see approach ostracized so much on this site?

I am excited about the moves that were made, but I am cautiously optimistic mainly because I have 0 faith in the head coach of this team.

Can they prove me wrong, of course, and I will be the first to admit it, but can we stop praising people for showing up to work?

Change is inevitable

Head coach,

I believe everything good that has happened this off season is despite of Jerry. He 100% wanted to resign Micah Parsons. He ruined last season, and has taken a back seat this season, like an owner should be doing.

And there it is.

Because I cant change teams. The fact you ask that, proves you just dont like the truth about this franchise.
Change is inevitable, you can change anything in your life that you want to, it might be difficult, but you can do it

LOL praising Jerry is going too far , but the stubborn guy is becoming a bit flexible and no harm in giving him credit where due.

Also he craves the recognition and hopefully the team will perform somehow well enough to reach a championship ( SB will be better) then we can hope he will take the accolades and fade away. Hopefully Stephen won’t be dumb to repeat another Jerry

You knew this was going to be a Jerry bashing,, that’s what you open the door for that’s what you wanted
And it might be appropriate, but there are some very good things about this team in my opinion

You must have missed all of the threads talking about "HES CHANGED"
That's not real.
On the front page right now there's a thread about how things will change with Stephen and that Jerry is a baby because he won't let rookies mock him lol.

While I'm certain we have been conditioned over time, we did quite a bit more than the bare minimum this offseason.

To see the bare minimum take a good look at 2 off seasons ago. Those few months set us back a couple years.

That's my take as well.

I think Jerry definitely wanted Parsons back but also badly wanted to win the contract battle with Parsons and his agent, but that gave the rest of the front office time to convince him to trade Parsons.
