I understand the team's desire for him to succeed as a big play threat, but I'm just not seeing the timing or vision required to find and hit those holes. Could be that we don't see him at his best in these preseason games with the scrubs, but I would think we would see a flash here or there,,,, not seeing it.

Remember, other teams have to claim a player AND put them on their 53, which very few teams like to do unless they're desperate at a position due to injury.

I think there will be several:
Carson, Bullard, Tioa, Houston, Liufau, Williams, Howell, Mafah and maybe the biggest shocker would be Hooker, but I doubt it.

Here is the reason there are “surprise” cuts every year - because we as fans don’t really know what the coaches know and what they are looking for.

The coaches are trying to put together a team that fits hand in glove with what they want to be - not an all star team.

We see cell phone highlights from practice, pre-season game performances against backups and scrubs which can inflate some players’ actual value.

I don’t know who the surprise cuts will be but I can guarantee there will be some surprises.
