Jerry: We will be looking over NFL rosters very aggressively

Well that is your belief on how you interpret that.
It was a half hearted joke anyway. I guess you didn't get iit. Since you are the only one making a deal about it.

It that not what I said, or meant the team, as Jerry said it.
If it was a joke it was so dry that it was imperceptable. I dont think it was. I just think you interperted the tweet however you wanted.

As far as being the only one making a deal about it, maybe Im one of the few people here that point out ridiculous takes

whatever, you still do not understand. I guess you just want to argue about it.

We know what the Cowboys will do: they will look for players their scouts liked coming out of the draft that get cut, and sign them.

This franchise is the ultimate "we can fix them" organization.

It apparently isnt me that didnt understand. I took the quote for what it is. You turned it into what you wanted it to be. You said something ridiculous and was called on it. We can keep up the dance, or you can just step away

Some CBs to watch

Jets:
  • Jordan Clark - plays special teams and is better than our CB5/6. He was headed for a cut until Ponds got hurt. If Ponds goes on IT, Clark makes the 53.
  • Mory Bomba - he was going to make their 53 but he got hurt. They may try to sneak him past waivers. He would be a great pickup but they may just make him one of their 2 IR stashes
Seahawks
  • Noah Igbinoghene - he’s athletic and plays special teams but may be vulnerable because to keep him, the Seahawks would likely have to cut a 2026 draft pick. He’s the type of veteran Parker might consider. We mocked Diggs for that one lowlight but Seahawks fans were really impressed with him in his debut and he might push this guy out
Chiefs:
  • Kristian Fulton - this is a longshot but he’s a guy teams will be watching. The Chiefs signed him to a big contract but he’s on their bubble. They are trying to go with younger players and he has slipped in camp below younger, cheaper players. Classic sunk cost fallacy test for the Chiefs. They could be dug in because they paid him so much. They’d probably like to trade him but no one is likely to do it because they’d have to eat his bad contract. If he’s actually cut, there are a half dozen teams, including the Cowboys, who would be calling his agent before midnight

Hopefully OLB and RT. We are weak there in back up spot. Got to be someone better than Sam Williams and Liafu. Nate is just ok but not sure we can't improve there or even get another capable back up tackle.
100% on RT. We need a better option to lean on. Someone who won't bring the offense down a few notches. As far as OLB, we have EZE, Gary, Von Miller, Houston and Malachi Lawrence to go along with Liafau and Williams. I don't think it's terrible.

Igbinoghene looked good this preseason. And he plays special teams. I wouldn't mind having him back here since Devin Moore is not close to being ready to be CB 4. And Caelon Carson will be lucky to get a practice squad spot.

Carson is an example of how rough our CB depth.

Holden got cut for one mistake in the first game. Carson had three penalties on the opening drive, but is still here.

Agreed. Another example of how this team is loathe to part with draft picks. Holden was a UDFA and an easy cut. Carson was a 5th round pick.

The "we like our guys" mantra didn't leave with Jason Garrett. :muttley:

Yeah after looking at Machota's projected roster posted here, I feel better about OLB. There was a few I forgot about because they didn't even play in preseason lol.

Or you can
I turned it into exactly what it was meant to be,
