The thing I like most about forums is reading different opinions. I think Chandler has nailed Hal Jordan to this point, especially within the context of the show's genre. It is the actresses playing the sheriff and the ranch owner's wife that are not doing it for me so far.
Just my opinions:
- Amazon is trying (I think weakly) to capitalize on the superhero bonanza by getting Sony to use their license of the character--along with satisfying Nicolas Cage's superhero fetish that he is too old to indulge in anymore. Kinda like old Arnold Schwarzenegger and the Terminator re-tries.
- I think they are making sure general audiences understand they will eventually focus on the 'newer' Green Lanterns of Earth than the old ones they may have so inkling of from their childhoods.
- Someone should be shot if Stallone plays anything other than a Ravener in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, lol.
