Surprise cuts around the league

[CT Dal Fan]

Damien pierce get that bad that fast?

Should cowboys bring him in for a look?

What would Pierce offer that the backs they cut today could not? It's Williams, Davis, Luepke, and a couple practice squadders that get called up as needed.

It's possible they put him on the practice squad and get him in football shape.

Counting the Cowboys last season we've been waiting over a year for Diggs to get into football shape.

He's washed. Those knee issues ended his effectiveness. It's just more proof that the NFL is a here today, gone tomorrow league.

[rambo2]

not really surprising .... but nowhere else to post lol

Little Diggs says believe in yourself.

[jazzcat22]

Yeah I think we didn't want to get caught up in other teams getting him before we could

Most likely. As I figured that when posted it.

The human body can not take it.

I'll be honest I think there were better options to have used a 3rd round pick on other than Jones

[dfense]

Not really,

From what little I saw of Blue, he couldn't break a tackle.

Me too.

[Coogiguy03]

Me too.

What do you think about the RB room any chance we add someone, maybe someone one of our assistants worked with maybe in Arizona lol

[Bigrandrn]

Not at all.

Yup, he hasn’t done a thing since getting here really.

I can see a move being made for a RB. If they do not, then if one of the RB’s makes it to the PS, which they probably will. They will call them up as needed. Until they decide what to do.

They didn't use a 3rd. They traded back for a 4th and gave a 6 and then got a 7th for Thomas. Jones is better than Thomas and they have the same amount of picks that they had yesterday morning.

Those "better options" would have cost more than a basic pick swap from the 3rd to the 4th. Assuming said options were even out there. Teams aren't giving away starting tackles and a player of Broderick Jones' ilk is the best Dallas could have done.

[Floatyworm]

Well......This is interesting

More than two hours since the deadline to cut rosters to 53, seven teams still haven't announced theirs.

He was a hell of a physical runner at one time.

[QuestForSix]

Jarquez Hunter bring him in ASAP

[Carson]

Interested in Junior Colson

He wasn't before that and he hasn't been since that one time. Tells me his one good season was an anomaly and he's on his way to the UFL, if anywhere.

We had interest during the draft process....Wouldn't shock me if we kicked the tires here.
