Especially since they didn't even want Micah. He was forced on them. Why? Because we are bad at recognizing talent.

He wasn’t forced they loved Micah. They traded with the Eagles to trade down and still get Micah.

He has played a ton of preseason, game snaps and very few impact plays. Anybody else dissapointed?

As someone who thought he was going to be a great player for us after we drafted him, I was also disappointed we even brought this loser back this year.

That is how disappointing his career has been.

Last 3 were ok. Decent backups and 3rd stringers. 2 starters is pretty good for a draft. Its just they had extra picks that year.. id say it was a b draft.

Its truly amazing the fans who don't even know what McClay does but try and say how bad he is. We know its a collective effort we see it every single year in the war room. The concern would be if they were just missing on talent. They aren't. The suspect picks have been suspect picks that I dont' think they even should've picked. I

Sam Williams was Dan Quinn's pet cat, just like Tysten Hill was with Marinelli. McClay has no control over which voice in the draft room Jerry will listen to.
If you want to criticize McClay, a good example would be of him on video pounding the table for Mazi Smith.

Will McClay can’t be given a free pass like many others in this organization have gotten for many years. He needs to go!

Really? The last two years are turning out positive results early

2024 is tbd….really depends on if Guyton turns into and adequate starter or not. If not it’s looking like maybe a C grade? Although Guyton, Beebe, Flournoy can all still help improve that grade.

2023 was horrible….F unless Overshown turns superhuman again.

2022 is an A draft class

Who exactly is rewarding these A’s? The product we’ve put on the field is all the proof you need. I guess I’ve imagined we’ve sucked for 30 years. McClay needs to go!

Didn’t want Micah? They took him 12th overall. If I remember correctly the other player they wanted was Patrick surtain, who was also pretty good.


Is that a drafting issue though? The job of Mcclay is to create a draft board of players that fit what the coaches at the time want to do. If DQ viewed run defense as secondary then that’s a separate issue.
