Yes always draft Best player available. These coaches and their pet projects reaching is what destroys a team.Oh my gosh do you know anything about the draft process?

Then it's not his job.McClay is VERY good at his job. He is considered top 10 if not a top 5 at his position in the league.
Remember, he doesn't make the picks. Never has, doesn't now and likely never will until Jerry is gone.
Wasn't on their radar?...It was pick 12....12.Traded back. He wasn't on their radar.
Absolutely. That's what the draft is for.
Diggs goneLol which year are you not giving an A to?
2020? Lamb/Diggs/Biadasz isnt an A draft?
2021? Parsons/Osa/Golston isnt an A draft?
2022? Tyler Smith/Ferg/Bland isnt an A draft?
Tough crowd....
No, that would be dumb. Plus, in most drafts, there's no such thing as BPA. There are several players rated similarly for almost every draft slot.Yes always draft Best player available. These coaches and their pet projects reaching is what destroys a team.
Beebe was a great pick.Wasn't on their radar?...It was pick 12....12.
Do they not get credit for picking Cooper Beebe too since he was the result of a trade down?
I don't follow the logic there at all.
Neither is Emmitt Smith but it was still a great draft pick.Diggs gone
Cooper is a bust. Need to move on. Short arms make him a liabilityWasn't on their radar?...It was pick 12....12.

No he was not. His short arms are a liability.Beebe was a great pick.
No, I do not remember him being on their radar.
Not at C.Cooper is a bust. Need to move on. Short arms make him a liability
Yes, he was. C's don't need long arms.No he was not. His short arms are a liability.
IMO a draft can’t be assigned any grade until many years down the road. Jerry has blown smoke up our butts in the offseason for so many years. Fans buy into it EVERY year.Lol which year are you not giving an A to?

2020? Still too early to grade that one?IMO a draft can’t be assigned any grade until many years down the road. Jerry has blown smoke up our butts in the offseason for so many years. Fans buy into it EVERY year.
He had one good seasonNeither is Emmitt Smith but it was still a great draft pick.
I wish Diggs had a longer run of success, but the guy made multiple pro bowls and was an all pro as well. He was a good pick.
Wow....Cooper is a bust. Need to move on. Short arms make him a liability
A player being gone really doesn't matter all that much. Michael Irving is gone, but I'm glad the Cowboys picked him. Micah is gone, but they got multiple years of a high end starter and ended up with more draft capital than they spent on him.Diggs gone
Biadasz. Spelling. Who cares gone
Parsons/ osa/ goldstone gone
Bland is washed
Ferguson. Yet to prove anything.
So we got two number 1 starters out of all those picks. That is not a good record
Ahhh I get it now lolHe had one good season
I give 2020 a pass. Covid made evaluation hard. If I was to grade I would say a D. We got one good players2020? Still too early to grade that one?
No i'm not lol. They traded down for Micah and the Eagles and jumped the Giants who wanted Devonta Smith and then Giants traded back and grabbed Toney. I remember this very well. Cowboys wanted Micah they didn't settle for him. They wanted Horn and Surtain more.Traded back for Micah.
You're thinking about the trade up for Downs.
I had to go back and look. I just don’t see that as an A draft.2020? Still too early to grade that one?
