Very nice pickup. We didn't have a 3rd down back.
Looks as if he was made available due to the drafting of Emmet Johnson and the emergence of Brashard Smith as a 3rd down back.
Just a reminder that no, you can't just find a starting running back at any point in the draft. If you get lucky, you'll hit on one, but there are a whole lot more misses than hits.Noice, Jaydon Blue let a golden opportunity go to waste.
Last I saw he was w/ KC. Did KC cut him then he got picked up by ARI?He's produced well when called upon...decent wheels and hands. Looks like just the odd man out with the logjam of RB's in AZ
I would have cut Caelon Carson.I like the signing, but I don't like cutting Milton to do it.
Starting RBs are everywhere, got hit by 3 of them on my way home falling out of trees!!!!Just a reminder that no, you can't just find a starting running back at any point in the draft. If you get lucky, you'll hit on one, but there are a whole lot more misses than hits.
I hope fans will remember that next year when we're drafting and they want to wait until the third day to find another starting tailback.
Yeah, I think some team will grab him based on potential. I don't like this move ... even though Milton will probably turn out to be nothing more than a backup in this league.Wow I rather kept Joe Milton over Howell. But maybe Howell practices better.
It wouldn't surprise me if the Commanders, Eagles, Titans or Ravens sign Joe Milton to back up their QBs. I can really see the Eagles doing it. They have 4 back up QB's. Cole Payton, Andy Dalton lol and Tanner Mckee.
Because he was a backup. Starting quality RBs are not available, and not what we were looking for anyway. On smarties, what’s the deal with this guy?
Never heard of him…..
i kinda feel we are gun-shy of drafting RBs high in the draft after Zeke.Just a reminder that no, you can't just find a starting running back at any point in the draft. If you get lucky, you'll hit on one, but there are a whole lot more misses than hits.

Maybe, but we're either going to have to hope we can get lucky on another free agent like we did with Javonte or bite the bullet and take one in the first three rounds. Of course, with Javonte under contract the next three years, I don't expect us to use anything higher than a fourth next year if we use a pick on one.i kinda feel we are gun-shy of drafting RBs high in the draft after Zeke.
He benched himself!!!!!!15 carries, 75 yards, 5.0 ypc. Yeah, Blue let a golden opportunity go away......not. Schottenheimer never liked him. Blue was obviously a Stephen Jones draft pick. Schottenheimer found a way to bench him all of last season, came up with some BS accusation to ruin the guy's image, the guy trained even harder this offseason, proved he could carry the load between the tackles (15 carries, 75 yards, 5.0 ypc), head coach didn't like getting proven wrong, cut him and is now acting like it never really mattered.
Good.Milton just released to make room.
We're going with two QBs.
But he will always have those blue louis vuitton shoes as a keep sake.Noice, Jaydon Blue let a golden opportunity go to waste.

He lit us up though but that type of fumble is hard to forget. Unfortunately I agree with you. He won’t last with us.The kid will be on a short leash. These coaches are picking up players they are familiar with. Doesn't show me anything special about these coaches.
It also cost me in my parlay, I remember it well!
He was looking good until the fumble. So where you.Nah I just wasn't paying attention to the headline. Remembered him being with AZLast I saw he was w/ KC. Did KC cut him then he got picked up by ARI?
