I liked Milton as much as the next guy. But there were still a lot of flaws. Still over throwing open guys, not tucking and running and forcing a bad throw.

This team remains baffling. They hold Mingo, Lance etc for a few seasons but cut Milton when h showed improvement

His inconsistency got him in the end. If he had put together a good performance against New Orleans he’d have won the job. But he didn’t. Talented player but Howell is more reliable.

Facts, but I'd prefer we had traded Milton tbf. I get that we couldn't keep him. But, unless they can get him on the PS, I'd have tried to trade him.

Very confused

One week ago, some posters are thinking about trading him for a high draft pick - to now released.
Maybe there is an attitude problem there?

Can't see Jerry liking this move, given the draft capital they gave up - so maybe he really has stepped back and letting the coaches make the decisions??

Another Jones circus special. This is Trey Lance Pt. 2. Giving up capital for both and they are gone quickly. They aren't even playing checkers, they are playing Candyland.
I'm not gonna say that because when they got rid of Lance he just sucked. In this case....they had two good QB's. They are cutting good players because for the first time in a while they have too many good players at certain positions.

Honestly, I still would argue trading was better, but maybe there weren't any takers?

If we're not careful we may lose the Super Bowl.

I understand but don't get too cocky.

I’m shocked at this decision. Unbelievable. I can’t believe they released a QB with potential that showed growth every year. In a QB starved league you can’t release a QB with potential.

Howell is more experienced and consistent. Milton may have more raw talent but you're not trusting him to start a game if Dak goes down.

Having said that I hope Milton gets back on the PS and Dallas can continue molding him. I admit I drank the Milton Kool Aid this preseason, but...it was preseason. Will Grier had good preseason games. Means nothing.

Like Schoonmaker and Shelton?

I'm guessing this was more about Camden Brown Vs Milton than Milton VS Howell

It was either going to be 1 backup QB and 6 WR's or 2 backup QB's and 5 WR's
