The league is beating Milton's for down. Literally nobody cares except for a handful of Cowboys fans who will forget about this in two weeks.

The rest of the league couldn't give a rip about him.

i gotta be fair. I read through the "would you trade joe milton" thread. You were one of only a couple that basically said he has zero trade value.

I'll always give it straight....even though the Zaney Zoners just want to slurp of goofy fantasies like melted chocolate.

There’s gotta be an off the field component to this we don’t know. Either terrible in locker room or something personal. Amazing the Falcons/Vikings/Cardinals/Saints wouldnt bring him in.

He may not be a starting QB but he’s better than some of the backups teams with 4 QBs are rolling with.

Milton has elite phyiscal
Talent. Howell has had opportunities and been a failure. Joe has shown growth and maturity, why not with the much higher ceiling

But, i havent been there at training camp, i only know what my eyes tell me. Hopefully Schotty knows best. Still think he was good enough to earn a roster spot. Not a fan of Howell, a Commander reject. Hope im

It's funny until you realize you need one.

Rolling with an aging, injury--prone QB with no viable replacement on the roster could get downright hilarious.

Oh, I agree, but the over reaction from one game was typical of this fan base and then they chose Howell over Milton.

The imagination is thinking Joe Milton is something he's not.

The fact is the Cowboys waived him. And they are the second team to get him off their roster. And in a few hours he will probably be back on the practice squad anyway.

Oh, I think it highly unlikely that JJ will ever surrender the honorific GM title...but it's evident (to me, anyway) that roster-building has, at a minimum, become much more of a collaborative process than it has been in the past.

The cowboys don't suck at everything they do. They wouldn't be as competitive as they have been over the years if they really did suck.

The issue is once one thing starts looking better than it has in the past, something else generally rears it's ugly head, and generally it's due to the general manager of the cowboys, but the issue is the owner won't fire him

That's been my theory for the last 26 years or so...
