And I have no problem with anyone kicking him over that. He deserves that criticism and possibly job fallout from his decision. To attack the sincerity of him owning up to it is different IMO.I can’t do that though. He’s not a victim here. He got behind the wheel intoxicated. If the guy lost all of his money I’d say that was kicking while he was down. Getting addicted to painkillers and not getting help until you got caught is self inflicted. Getting behind the wheel intoxicated is your own decision.
I'd like to see him take the next step and not only own up to it but use his celebrity to champion against driving while intoxicated. Make it a platform. If it helps one person not make that potentially lives-altering decision, then it is worth it.
