well that has to be humbling. For him and the ones that thought Dallas could get a high draft pick or a starting OT. Cowboys couldnt give him away.

If anyone thought we could get a starting OT for anyone we cut or a high draft pick, they weren't being realistic. The most anyone should have thought is we might could get a backup OT or a late-round pick. I thought he'd get claimed, so therefore I was wrong.

Coaches are looking more for who can operate the offense in full and move the ball consistently against top level defenders.

Get the play over the headset, call it in the huddle, get everybody up quickly, read the defense to adjust blocking and call for motion, then snap it and read it quick to get the ball to the right place. Then do it again and again and again. More than anything, don't miss easy throws and do NOT turn the ball over!

Splash plays aren't the determinant, especially against backups. Splash plays are great, but you don't rely on them. Gotta move the ball first and foremost.

As Parcells always said...any possession that ends in a kick is good. Extra points, field goals, and punts are all OK.
Exactly...Apparently a lot of people don't understand this.

The Cowboys didn't want to trade him. They want him. If he doesn't sign with a different team he will be back. He probably comes back.

I truly find it unbelievable that a rising star like Joe was overlooked by every NFL General Manager.

It makes you wonder what they were thinking??!!!

In my opinion, they all should be fired for missing out on such a talent.

Hopefully, they get him back like they wanted.

Of course, people's viewpoints also get exaggerated. If you didn't like that he was waived, that seems to equate that you think he's a starting QB and someone should have been willing to trade the farm for him, instead of that you just think he's worth developing. If you were glad he was waived instead of someone else, that translates to you are a Dak lover and just don't like his ego being bruised.

It's silly how fans overexaggerate other fans' views in order to argue with them or belittle them.

I get it bro.

The only thing I thought would be more funny is if the Chargers claimed him and cut Lance and then we picked up Lance as his replacement.
I briefly had that thought lol. Its a mad world out there my friend.
