Hard to come back from something like that.My wife despises Vick to this day!![]()
Bro if it sounded like I was dodging a question (and I don't think I did) it would be because I didn't want to sound totally anti-Milton. I actually do want him back here on the PS because I did see good things from him this summer. If someone refuses to answer my questions in real life I wouldn't I tell them to answer like a man? Lol. And again.....you dodged. Smh
what’s taking so long….
First of all I don't think Sam Howell has fans and yes I'm back Just like Eminem i'm back I'm back I'm back I'm back I was looking for you my man So the Cowboys are really stupid and yet 31 other teams didn't pick him up on waivers..It does seem as those these strange Howell fans dislike Milton. Calling him a loser and he folds and he's dumb. But I already know what time it is on here
I agree. If Avenging Hayseed's wife despised me, I'd just call it quits.Hard to come back from something like that.
He might also not think we qualify as what's in bold. The guy wants to start. He did the same thing in New England.
I think he's sees a long path to starting here now, so he's weighing his options.
His best move is to stay here and work on his game with a good team, but ego and youth don't always think straight.
He probably is and I get it. He did everything they asked him to.He MIGHT be butthurt,...but who knows. Could be a variety of things. If he is you really couldn't blame him. He like any other NFL player is chasing a dream,...which is honorable. Players have feelings and ego's too,.....they are Human just like anyone else.
Yeah don't worry he's still butthurt Hopefully that's not how Milton feels I think some people like him think we're fans of Sam Howell and that's not true We're just realists and we knew that Milton wasn't ready Now that we have proof some people around here like the man you're talking to he won't let it go...Bro if it sounded like I was dodging a question (and I don't think I did) it would be because I didn't want to sound totally anti-Milton. I just believe Howell has improved as well and is the more reliable option as the backup QB- right now. Maybe Milton becomes that someday, but it's not now. The fact he went unclaimed tells me the NFL feels the same way.
Hey Blue!First of all I don't think Sam Howell has fans and yes I'm back Just like Eminem i'm back I'm back I'm back I'm back I was looking for you my man So the Cowboys are really stupid and yet 31 other teams didn't pick him up on waivers..
What we saw was the Cowboys are in win now mode they are not in rebuild mode and Milton is not ready for the direct backup role yet he needs another offseason another preseason in my opinion and maybe he wins the job next year but the smart play is for him to come back But no one dislikes Milton you know you take disliking Milton that we're actually honest about the player and we were right about being honest about the player some of you all were a little bit delusional and a little bit one over by some preseason games that I watched the 12 other very inexperienced quarterbacks have very similar preseasons but preseason is not what the Cowboys were looking at alone..
I mean seriously it was very very close in preseason it's not like Sam Howell just like puked all over the place and just happened to get the job because he has some experience no they could have got that guy anyway he actually played pretty well and sometimes he was coming in in the second half where he had a worse team around him or worse offensive line a worse run game and he made the best of it yes you're gonna say a worst defense but yes it was very close they're gonna take experience for this particular team over what Milton offers right now yes more upside but they're pretty much the same age and Howl actually is a little bit mobile too that is why I said he reminds me of Cooper Rush And what did the Cowboys keep Cooper Rush around for as a long reliever a just in case guy he wasn't that good either but he was good enough that he didn't get happy feet and wide eyed in games and they're worried about Milton doing that..
I like Milton and I hope Milton isn't butthurt like some of y'all and comes back here because this is where he knows the offense this is where he knows his teammates this is where he knows the coaching staff It's not over he can get on the practice squad get called up every week as the emergency 3rd and you never know what's gonna happen ask dak how he fell into the job... I mean Prescott was forced on the depth chart and all of a sudden everyone was hurt in front of him and he got his opportunity and he took it away and snatched it away from Romo..
So II hope he comes back We do not hate Milton and I'm not a fan of Sam Howell I am a fan of football and understand the Cowboys are at a point where they would not have handed the keys to someone like Milton and Sam was gonna be the guy..
Does that mean I like him I was just being honest with what I saw what I saw in Washington with Howell and what I saw in preseason doesn't mean he's perfect again neither was Cooper Rush anybody you thought Cooper was good no he wasn't he was good enough to handle long relief but as soon as he got pressured by better teams and got into having to do it for too long he got exposed.
But that is expected from your backup he is not the starter but you need somebody that's not gonna panic That doesn't mean Sam's not going to make mistakes it just means Sam's been there before a little bit more than Milton has and this team is ready right now they they're tired of losing They don't have that big a window that is the only reason I pick Sam..

Yeah but if he has family friends and other teammates he's played with in the past like coaches from I don't know Tennessee and maybe high school they would tell him to put those feelings aside go back to a place where you know the roster you know the offense you know the coaching staff you're comfortable here they like you they want you back His best place would be here..He probably is and I get it. He did everything they asked him to.
He may have to come back....there's too many backup QB's in this league and at least here its only Howell.
Honestly, I am having trouble understanding. It doesn't matter if they called teams, took calls, or spent the weekend playing patty cake. I can't think of a more obvious sign that there was no interest from other teams in trading for Milton than the fact that no one was even willing to put him on their roster without giving anything up.Yes, they talked to teams on Saturday. They didn't take calls on Sunday when teams set their rosters and they protected him on the 53 on Sunday. I know it's really hard for people to understand.
But I'm being honest I'll be shorter this time I am not a fan of Sam Howell and I Milton comes back because I would like to see him have an opportunity here at some point.. Hopefully he's not as butthurt as you and that he comes to his senses and does the right thing and I really do think that's on our practice squad and being the number 3 emergency guy and he's there just in case and you never know when just in case might come early..Hey Blue!![]()
Some that are claiming that they are right aren't right at all.A lot of us were wrong. I still stand by I don't think Sam howell outplayed him but I can admit I was wrong no team claimed him. Everyone can gloat they were right who was right. Cookie time lol.
Fish made a great point as to why Milton was not released on day 1.Man the fact no one wants him I kind of don’t either now lol. Telling no one touched him.
What did he say?Fish made a great point as to why Milton was not released on day 1.
Honestly, they like Milton and didn't want to trade him. At least for what they could get for him. There was interest. At least teams called. Teams would give something up if they claimed him. They would have to cut another player and honor Milton’s contract. Milton was cut after interested teams had set their rosters.Honestly, I am having trouble understanding. It doesn't matter if they called teams, took calls, or spent the weekend playing patty cake. I can't think of a more obvious sign that there was no interest from other teams in trading for Milton than the fact that no one was even willing to put him on their roster without giving anything up.
This thread now officially has everything in it.But I'm being honest I'll be shorter this time ...
So do I because I love dogs.My wife despises Vick to this day!![]()
