Yeah it's resource allocation. By the time a defense is fully addressed, the offense starts to struggle. It does take time to completely overhaul a defense from the coaches to the players. They’re off to a good start.
Garrett hasn't practiced has knee issueDonald is aging and imo dallas has a better dline. With an aging adams, dallas is better at wr. You are not giving dallas enough credit. In fact, I wouldn't put dallas below the rams, I would put them neck and neck if not better.
Suggests Parker has been a success if he has gone. Why would his scheme be out of the window? Would we not want one of his staff to continue it?If Dak is going to get the cowboys to the nfc championship or SB, now would be the time under Parker, that is a two year window at best. Once Parker is gone, his style of scheme will be out of the window.
I believe Dak will have a decent defense if not better under Parker. Dak is loaded, and the excuse train has long left the station.
Some will say what about the Rams, Seahawks etc.....well, that is where Dak needs to push himself to the point of exhaustion, especially if the defense is giving more than what was given last year, which i believe under Parker will give.
If not in this two year window, then we might as well chalk Dak up just as we did Romo, a 10+ year career roller coaster ride, with not much to show for.
Come to think of it, thats a little over 20 years between two QBs of the same thing. Insane.
I think this is the Rams year before they fade and retool again. Fortunately, it just doesn't coincide with what I think should be our strongest year (next season).I think you've forgotton about Myles Garrett lol. LAR is also much better at CB.
I actually think Dallas' offense can be better but the defense isn't there.
I don't think that's fair to a degree, we still have to hold our end of the bargain. If they get stops and turnovers and we can't capitalize off it, then whatAll eyes will be more on Parker this season. Everyone knows the offense is a top 5 for sure, if not higher.
Yea I think the Rams are basically in a one-year window.I think this is the Rams year before they fade and retool again. Fortunately, it just doesn't coincide with what I think should be our strongest year (next season).
Brother stop it. I’m the biggest most optimistic Cowboys fan on this board but if you’re sitting with a straight face telling me Myles Garrett and Aaron Donald are on the rams dline and we have a better dline than them, then i know you’re just tryna setup a hate agenda against Dak lolDonald is aging and imo dallas has a better dline. With an aging adams, dallas is better at wr. You are not giving dallas enough credit. In fact, I wouldn't put dallas below the rams, I would put them neck and neck if not better.
There is no indication that the offense can't capitalize on that.I don't think that's fair to a degree, we still have to hold our end of the bargain. If they get stops and turnovers and we can't capitalize off it, then what
It's hard to trust this team at times in the red zone. Hoping to see a clean up in the penalties (on both sides) but we're talking about offense right now so offense in the red zone, or even on drives period. I'm not saying they have to be perfect, but let's be better and score the EASY TD'sThere is no indication that the offense can't capitalize on that.
I can see them taking a step back in total yards. If the defense finally gives them shorter fields.
But improve red zone TD's vs. FG's. They can be a top scoring team, again, but better. Which of course matters more than total yards.
Some, probably many said same thing last year about NE and Seattle. This team isnt going to a SB or NFC title game anytime soon
Insanity - "Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results"You know, the sad part about this is that fans like yourself have been so programmed that mediocrity is the norm, over the last 30 years, and 20plus years under Romo and Dak, that you believe any talk of success is delusional.
You need fandom resuscitation, instant.
I think his point is Dak might be the KEY factor this go 'round.Stopped reading here due to delusion from OP.
And the rams defense is? Both teams have added parts to the defense that hasn't played a game in Dallas yet, atleast QW has proved he can be disruptive on the worse defense, garrett hasn't proved anything with the rams as of yet.I think you've forgotton about Myles Garrett lol. LAR is also much better at CB.
I actually think Dallas' offense can be better but the defense isn't there.
If Parker’s defense is worth a crap, his scheme will not be gone when he is. That’s why you promote one of the current defensive coaches unless one of Parker’s mentors is available. If Dak is going to get the cowboys to the nfc championship or SB, now would be the time under Parker, that is a two year window at best. Once Parker is gone, his style of scheme will be out of the window.

Nothing will be different. Jerry is still the problemIf Dak is going to get the cowboys to the nfc championship or SB, now would be the time under Parker, that is a two year window at best. Once Parker is gone, his style of scheme will be out of the window.

What on Earth are you talking about? And the rams defense is? Both teams have added parts to the defense that hasn't played a game in Dallas yet, atleast QW has proved he can be disruptive on the worse defense, garrett hasn't proved anything with the rams as of yet.
You say the rams defense is better based on names, yet you say Dallas isnt there in a similar situation.
