Practice Squad Joe Milton Signed to Practice Squad

So, you are saying that Schotty was lying yesterday.
What draft picks were turned down in a potential trade?

And what team wanted to sign Joe to their active roster after he was released?

Answer those questions, and you will know why Joe is back.
Hint: The answers are “none” and “none”.

You are wrong.

You prove it. You don't know.
You are living in a made up fantasy land.

Teams ALWAYS accept a trade instead of releasing a player. ALWAYS.

and

A player will ALWAYS sign onto an active roster instead of holding out for a practice squad position. ALWAYS.

Lol, you know Fish is going to point it out that he was right in his next show. But hey he did call it out perfectly and told everybody what was happening so he has the right to brag about it. Ha, I know I would.
we are idiots on a forum. Fish actually talks to people in the star. I would point out how dumb all of you are if I was him also. All of these idiots in here talking like they know what is going on is hilarious. Fish told us what was happening with Milton, and he was right. Nothing elseto be said.

I coached girls softball for 20years. I was , kind of ok as a coach. We were in district finals, kicking this teams ***, and this shortstop was cussing her coach out the entire game under her breath. I was in the third base box, so I could hear her. Next season, she tries out for my team. I had many people tell me to not take her, she was a cancer. No, she was awesome, she just had ****** coaches. This kid went on to play D1 at U of Colorado Buffaloes.

Moral to the story, I dont give a damn what other coaches say, or other people think. Is joe looking good? yes he is.

I agree. Joe looks better than he ever has.

But Dallas didn’t turn down a trade in order to release him instead (that would be insane).

And Joe didn’t turn down an active roster spot on another team in order to join the Dallas PS (that would be insane as well).

so you think if someone offered a 6th rd pick for rmilton, dallas would have jumped?

damn, if someone offered a 6trh and we turned them down.... lookat all the studs we could havemissed out on:

  • Ajani Cornelius (OT, Oregon) – 2025, Pick 204
  • Ryan Flournoy (WR, Southeast Missouri State) – 2024, Pick 216
  • Eric Scott Jr. (CB, Southern Miss) – 2023, Pick 178
  • Deuce Vaughn (RB, Kansas State) – 2023, Pick 212
  • Devin Harper (LB, Oklahoma State) – 2022, Pick 193
  • Quinton Bohanna (DT, Kentucky) – 2021, Pick 192
  • Israel Mukuamu (CB/S, South Carolina) – 2021, Pick 227
  • Donovan Wilson (S, Texas A&M) – 2019, Pick 213
  • Chris Covington (LB, Indiana) – 2018, Pick 193
  • Cedrick Wilson Jr. (WR, Boise State) – 2018, Pick 208

so out of the last ten 6th rd picks, imagine what we were missing out on if we had turned down a 6th for Milton.

Maybe or maybe he thinks this is his best offer. I believe that it is. He might have had several offers or maybe not. I suspect that he had more than just the Dallas offer.
.. yeah, stay with Dallas until something props up. Halfway down the season things get dicey with injuries.

Yes. A team ALWAYS takes a draft pick instead of releasing a player. ALWAYS.

At this point, Milton is a JAG like all of those previous drafted players.

If Milton weren’t a JAG, one of the other 31 teams would have signed him to their active rosters.

First, he was originally listed on the 53.
Second, they basically said they value winning now (Howell) over ceiling and development (Milton).
Lastly, he's still exposed on the practice squad. If someone wants him on their active roster, they can get him anyway.

So, if this was over $2million, I still say it's shortsighted. This is the kind of Pink Panther clever moves that results in high-fives but still mask a flawed overall approach.
Even when they are right you find something to complain about.

Who’s the more vile, POS, looking to be the smartest guy in the room? Jerry or Kiffin? I honestly don’t know, they’re both trash. If Schotty doesn’t work out in the next 2 years and Kiffin is having good success at LSU, don’t be surprised if he’s our new HC IF Jerry is still “with us”. They were made for each other.
Tell us how you really feel

you absolutely missed the point of why he wasnt grabbed. Would Dak have been snatched uphad he been cut as arookie?

Don’t know he’s a JAG as much as there’s stuff inside locker rooms we aren’t privy to that never gets reported.

Why wouldn’t Miami bring him in? He’s definitely more talented than their backups.

Minnesota he’s better than their backups.

Arizona I think better than all their QBs but they drafted Carson Beck.

Chargers - better than Lance or DJ

Just surprising and it can’t be for just on field stuff.
