I just read Jerry Dumbo GM Jones profile on the Arlington Jonesboys website. Looking at his credentials of his tenure, then Clint Murchinson should be in the Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor and NFL Hall of Fame.
Before you say he was not personally involved like Jerry Dumbo GM Jones lies and says he was, remember that the following owners are in their teams honors and NFL Hall of Fame:

- Murchison subsequently purchased "Hail to the Commanders" for $2,500 to get the Dallas Cowboys franchise approved, like Jones flipped a coin. Checkmate Murchinson over Jerry.
- Murchinson built a state of the art new stadium/Texas Stadium like Jerry's World, check.
- Murchison gave up ownership of the stadium and the 95 acres on which it sat in exchange for a 40-year lease. He retained the management rights to the stadium. This became a model for how other NFL teams would operate stadiums. Checkmate Murchinson over all NFL Owners.
- Valley Ranch was opened with mix use development like Frisco, check.
- The Cowboys were the first team to use computers for analytics. Checkmate Murchinson over all NFL Owners.
- Murchison suggested hiring Landry away from his job as a defensive coach with the New York Giants, then gave him a 10 contract after losing season, just like Jerry hiring Jimmy Johnson (even though Brandt and Schramm already approached him to replace Landry), check. Regarding hiring Landre, “I would love to take one percent credit for Landry,” Schramm said, “but I can't."
- Murchinson was the owner of the Dallas Cowboys that became America's team. Checkmate all NFL Owners.
- 1960 ($600,000): Founder Clint Murchison Jr. paid a $600,000 expansion fee to start the franchise in Dallas. 1984 ($85 million): H.R. "Bum" Bright purchased the team from Murchison for $85 million. That is a 14,066.76% return on investment. Check. Because the sale was a distress sale due to Murchinson illness, the Cowboys was sold 5 years later for $140M to Jerry Jones which means if Murchinson would have kept the Cowboys until is death in 1987, he would have sold for $125M-$135M ($40M-$50M more). Check Mate all NFL owners at that time twice.
