Jaylon Smith on GMF

way more than he ever should have made.

he took roster spot & snaps from better players for no other reason than organizational ineptitude.
He played football at a high level for about 2 years….mind you he had to put the work in to even come back from an injury that he shouldn’t have even came back from. I just never understood blaming guys for signing contracts given to them.

I don’t even remember him stealing snaps from anyone our linebackers sucked lol.

He was a bust and the most embarrassing player ive seen play for dallas. but I must say he did seem like he was a good guy. Not his fault jerry stupidly gave him a contract. Lol dunno what Jerry was thinking

I agree he wasn't a complete embarrassment for a stretch but not high level. Most LBers look good when they are just getting to see ball, get ball.

When he had to understand what was going on & react, he was horrible. Which is the basis for why I think his whole college mystique was a farce. Regardless your physical injures, you don't lose the mental, instinctual side.

No one sucked worse than him. So yes, he was stealing snaps from guys who may have also been lacking but still better than him.

Who did he steal
Snaps from? I honestly can’t recall having a good linebacker aside from LVE who had his issues as well.

I had hopes he would overcome the injury, and maybe he kind of did, but the combination of his lost ability and his lack of awareness took him down.

I don't know. It doesn't matter. He was the worst LBer in the NFL during his last several seasons. The blocking sled is still laughing.
* Joe Thomas
* Justin March
* Malcolm Smith
* Luke Gifford

Haha yeah this is about what insuspected. Trash cans lol.

He really should’ve been a solid redemption story and I think he was and would’ve been if not for re-signing him.

I feel like he got paid and got a big head and wasn't focused on the mental aspect of the game so much after that. His breakout year he really looked like he was gonna be a star.
