Tony, Troy, Dak
Troy had the absolute perfect situation. A lot of QBs could have thrived on that team.
Tony and Dak never had that, although Dak has a great situation now. Tony did in 2014, but he was pretty beat up by then.
Troy was the least mobile and threw the worst deep ball. Great leader, but very robotic. It paired well with the greatest running game in football those years and a great defense as well.
Romo had the best touch and ability to read defenses and throw all routes accurately. He moved in the pocket brilliantly.
Dak has improved quite a bit, but still needs to throw accurately and on time in the biggest moments. He has every chance to get it right this year.
Add White, Meredith, and Morton, and the Cowboys have had an embarrassment of riches at the position.
