Weird signing.

Nah he’s actually a dawg, elite blocker just an absolute road grader with an edge to him.

He’s also a good redzone threat cause of his height and size and can scoot when he’s out in open field.

The forcing of Schoon his first few years plus all the mouths on offense made it hard to see. But he’s now 2 on the depth chart and you’ll see more of him moving forward.

I’m confident this is an underrated signing that we’ll be very happy about moving forward.

Why? Spann-Ford has had a tremendous offseason and camp. He is the best blocking TE on the roster. He can get downfield. He worked himself up from a UDFA to TE 2 on the depth chart.

Trigg is a raw and plays tight end like an oversized wide receiver. Ask him to block anyone right now and it'd be a disaster 5 out of 10 times.

The signing would signify they’ve seen it already in camp and don’t want to play the FA game this summer.
