Giants DC: Our defense will be tough and violent Sunday night

New defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson knows the #Giants will face a tough test vs. the Cowboys. He views Dak Prescott as a "top quarterback in the National Football League." He sees both CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens as "elite receivers."

But the Giants defense is going to be unapologetic in how they play. They intend to be tough and violent.

Tougher than a coffee stain on a Reggie Swinton jersey.

Say, that's an innovative style of play on opening day. They are going to be tough and violent.

The typical strategies I've heard around the league is that most teams intend to be weak and passive.

This bold Giants DC has a radically different approach. Cowboys players need to discard the flags attached to their belts. It's not going to be that kind of game.

I also heard that the Giants plan on saying mean and hurtful things to the Cowboys during the game. Is that allowed?
I think it's more of a psychological thing with Harbaugh. He knows how badly we played last year on defense, and he's riding that horse into this season until proven otherwise. Parker with his "masters" comment is goofy in itself. Harbaugh is 66-31-1 in the regular season. Schotty is 7-9-1. This will be tougher than it looks.

Harbaugh was 8-9 last year, his 18th and Schott’s first year as HC. Harbaugh has nothing to brag about.
