Giants DC: Our defense will be tough and violent Sunday night

Say, that's an innovative style of play on opening day. They are going to be tough and violent.

The typical strategies I've heard around the league is that most teams intend to be weak and passive.

This bold Giants DC has a radically different approach. Cowboys players need to discard the flags attached to their belts. It's not going to be that kind of game.

I also heard that the Giants plan on saying mean and hurtful things to the Cowboys during the game. Is that allowed?
I think it's more of a psychological thing with Harbaugh. He knows how badly we played last year on defense, and he's riding that horse into this season until proven otherwise. Parker with his "masters" comment is goofy in itself. Harbaugh is 66-31-1 in the regular season. Schotty is 7-9-1. This will be tougher than it looks.

Harbaugh was 8-9 last year, his 18th and Schott’s first year as HC. Harbaugh has nothing to brag about.

Look at his overall record. He won twice as many games as he lost. Going 8-9 one season doesn't diminish what he's done in the NFL. Harbaugh ranks third in career wins among active NFL head coaches with 180 victories, trailing only Andy Reid and Sean Payton. He also won a SB and had his Ravens consistently in the post-season hunt.
Saying he's nothing to brag about shows a lack of understanding the difficulties of coaching in the NFL.

I live in Baltimore. Many Ravens fans wanted him gone over the last 2 seasons, but he's a good coach...an upgrade for many teams. He's tough-minded, and demands some level of discipline. He's going to be a challenge for NFCE opponents.

Harbaugh was a product of his GMs. Quality of players went down in BAL but not as bad as they should have been. He didn’t do anything to elevate them. What has he done lately?

I think it will be Dak making the inexperienced decisions late game. Dart gets the Win. CowboyZone will crumble. What a joyous Sunday evening.
well you got that right, dart outplayed dak bigtime!
But I credit the giant coaches for the win too.
Giants looked good. curious to see how they look against the rams.

CP didn't do HIS job. He needed to provide schemes that would make the QB and OC think twice. He did nothing of the sort for most of the game. The safeties started almost every play 10+ yards off the ball, as if the front 7 could handle the running load. NOPE! They couldn't.

That means the DC must adjust and create some Bear fronts (8 and 9 in the box) to threaten the LOS...and to make the offensive line have to figure out who's coming and who's not.

This ain't the Eagles, you can't just stop the run with the front 7 on most plays. You're going to need to devote more effort. You're going to have to devise some newer schemes. CP, you're going to have to COACH.
