"The one constant that has proven itself and remains basically intact is the Cowboys offense. There's an impression that the Giant's defense is at least average but it's actually closer to ours.

Giant's with a proven new HC
Cowboys with a new DC

Boys should win but I'd be surprised if its a blowout. Vegas has it a 3 point spread so that listens"

Giants will go 5-12 or 6-11. That was all about Cowboys being terrible defensively and making no adjustments. Offense being very vanilla and predictable. Schottenheimer is an awful HC and that just becomes more and more apparent.

Also Downs and Lawrence are both going to be busts. Lawrence looked lost tonight and Downs was overrated in college.
The problem with this argument is the Cowboys have owned the Giants for the last decade, with the same “vanilla and predictable offense” and “poor coaching”. So when the Cowboys were pouring it on offensively against these scrubs, it was “greatness”..

Another dreadful performance. Team is not coached hard and it shoes. Soft undisciplined team per usual

I know Dak made some good throws last night and then that bone headed interception.... but I don't think our offense will be as good as it was last season.

I don't think the loss last night was Dak's fault but he looked like an older quarterback last night the way he was throwing the ball. I have to give the Giants credit because they look like they're going to be something to deal with this season.

A very unpolished performance. We got beat in every team category and the individual players as well. Hopefully it's first game jitters. Because, no one looked very good.
I need like what I saw from Downs and Ezeiruaku, They made some nice tackles and play on the ball. Couple sacks and a handful of tackles. I think a forced fumble too.

NYG and WAS being pushovers has made this team look a lot better than it really is over the last ~10 years
Hush now. You'll hurt some feelings with those kind of truths. Some "legends" are built on those wins.

Has anyone addressed why Leupke couldn't replicate Picard's impact on the game?
