Wow I would have sworn you were a metroplex fan . Any Taylor sightings at Wal Mart or Target … please tell her hello .

I wished I lived in the metroplex. The general consensus around here is that Tay Tay flys in at the last minute and flies out as quickly as she can. She and/or Kelce aren't seen around town.

In WV it is mostly Steelers fans.
A few Cincy or Cleveland but mostly steelers. All three are about the same distance for me.

I have relatives that are a stones throw from Pittsburgh, bunch of rowdy yinzers. I got so tired of anything football from PA. If the Panthers were doing well they were panther fans if the Nittany lions were doing well they were on that bandwagon. They were however staunch steelers fans. I remember being a Tony TD fan as a youngster and I had to always hear how he played at Pitt.

Nothing better than walking around in a mall in Uniontown back in the day with a Dallas Cowboys hat with the Superbowl Logos on them Talk about some dirty looks.

But I hate that so many in WV are Steeler fans. As Mountaineer fans we are die hard Pittsburgh panther haters. That rivaly is real. But for these guys to turn around and like the steelers...makes no sense.

I mean they are on the border. Honestly, I've never really had a bad time with Steelers fans. I say this having been to Pittsburgh multiple times for a convention and the draft (in fursuit)....then again, Pittsburgh loves furries, so that's probably why I get along with Yinzers lol.

And brother, it can be brutal out there every time the Cowboys lose.
You out-of-state fans know what I mean. One is at work at the office or other venue and Cowboys haters come out the woodwork.
It's not a good time for Cowboys fans because of the haters who make it a point to needle fans.
"Hey, too bad your Cowboys lost." "What a trouncing those lads in silver and blue received." And on and on.
And these haters are hard to find when the Boys whip an opponent.
You fans out there out of state are the true fans who endure the slings and arrows but proudly march on. Chin up. We are due for better times.
Me admiration is for you out there is immense. .

They come out of the woodworks here as well when the Cowboys lose. Win they win, crickets from the haters.

Not without my fursuit, tail, and/or convention badge haha. Honestly, my furry apparel is usually a good shield for me. I still got a little flack for the Cowboys jersey I wore over my suit, but the fursuit was enough for most of the Pittsburgh people that saw me to say "But I like your suit" or "But you're a furry, so that's cool".

I live in the middle of Chief Nation. Everywhere I go all I see is red.

It was cool until Mahomes came town. Three super bowls later and I'm pulling my hair out.

Same for me. I will say Chiefs fans, in general, are very tolerable in my experience. And my whole family here, except my youngest daughter, are Chiefs fans. She is a Cowboys fan, like her dad.

DC here, whole family is Skins fans except me and one cousin… Thanksgivings are always interesting.

Although things have definitely mellowed as we all get older, probably in part because the rivalry itself doesn’t have the same venom that it used to.

I used to live in Detroit/Cleveland/Cinnci/Lions region. My Cowboys jersey used to provoke dirty looks, scowls, derision. That was when we were winning.

I've lived in the Tampa Bay area for about 26 years. I've watched the reactions go from laughter to...pity.

Luckily Bucs fans are good folks.

I live in Bill's country in Rochester NY . Been a Cowboys fan since the Dandy Don and Craig Morton days . Plenty of Cowboy fans around here . Have seen the Cowboys play in Cleveland , Detroit , Buffalo , New Jersey , Pittsburgh and Philthydelphia . Never had a problem wearing Cowboys stuff , even in Philthy . Friendliest people were in Cleveland and Detroit .

I'm just an old Cowboys fan, born and raised in northeastern Louisiana. These parts used to be solid Dallas Cowboys territory and I never had any real problems out of other fans until...



His name was Jim Finks. The Saints hired him in the late (mid?) 80's. New Orleans, who NEVER had a winning season, started having winning seasons a year or two into his tenure. Saints fans around here started puffing out their chests. Then the Dome Patrol surfaced in around the turn of the decade. Dominating defense puffed their chest out more. They started yakking more. And they started directed all their yakking at Cowboys fans living amongst them. "Living amongst you? Where have all you fools been all this time?"

Whatever.

upstate NY for me. Near Albany. I'd say the % breakdown around here is...roughly

30 NYG fans ( used to have training camp here)
20 Pats
20 Bills
20 Jets
10 the natl teams. dallas, SF, Pitt, GB, etc

bills are the in state team of course but
its closer to get to giants/jets and pats games.

i get a comment at least once a day for wearing a cowboys cap or tshirt. But its all in good fun. But yeah, the Cowboys are despised here for the most part.

Grew up in upstate Ny and this sounds about right. I remember whoever was doing well on the AFC side Jets, NE, Bills we would get on TV but on the other side it was mostly the Giants and then the Cowboys. The 80's were brutal for a Cowboys fans with the Giants winning.

I’m in 9er country…..the belly of the beast.

That is for sure. I live in Niner country and came to work on Monday and heard it from my Niner fans. I think here they root for the Niners and any team that is playing the Cowboys.
