Not for me. Playing at home and beating what I believe will prove to be a bad team will not wipe away the bad impressions of week 1 for me. Be 3-2 after the Tampa game, that's what will start to lessen my disappointment in the head coach.Don't worry they'll have a good game and we'll forget all about this
I didn’t say that, but implying that CeeDee doesn’t deserve to wear the jersey because of some concept you’ve carried about Mike’s “toughness” being the ultimate criteria, doesn’t hold up.You don't get an Irvin or Pearson every year.
Okay....you don't think #88 has any special legacy. That's fine.
Okay...let's put this #88 silliness aside then.I didn’t say that, but implying that CeeDee doesn’t deserve to wear the jersey because of some concept you’ve carried about Mike’s “toughness” being the ultimate criteria, doesn’t hold up.
There has been only one Irvin and there will never be another. If that is the requirement, then Dez didn’t deserve it either and they should have simply never let anyone wear it again.
And really, isn’t it just two players?
There were, and are, people appalled that Irvin wore “Pearson’s”number with all of his illegal and “immoral” activities while he was a Cowboy.
So you weren't disappointed? Hmmm...interesting.This forum is the worst after a bad loss. Instantly toxic.
I would agree. I would also point out that this probably applies to the vast majority of wide receivers.Okay...let's put this #88 silliness aside then.
The point i was making about Lamb is...I don't believe he's always playing 100% tough. No WR catches 100% passes...but he does seem to have mental lapses at odd times...especially if we think of him as elite.
If you disagree...that is fine.
I think CeeDee is one of few, if not the only player on the roster who can be traded and not be laugh at by other GMs in the league.I thought we should have traded him to some team like Tennessee for perhaps a 2nd round draft pick. New England might have bit too since they traded for Brown. Used that pick on a cheaper receiver or a linebacker and used the funds to fill in some other gaps in our team.
It’s not about stats skills or one gameDon't worry they'll have a good game and we'll forget all about this
Lol lol I used to do to my mother's job and print out website articles about them and take them home to read them lol, never forget when we got Chris Warren I was so hype lolIt’s not about stats skills or one game
I jsut really like the cowboys. I used to read books about em when I was little in the back of the library.
I want them to be watchable and too often they look like amateurs
He definitely has not had the impact that Amari Cooper hit the ground running with as a no.1 WR. Which means he is not a impact 88 like Clutch 88, Playmaker, and Dez.what do I want on my Dallas cowboys team?
I want a handsome qb with a set of plums.
I want a running back that stands out above the entire league in some key aspect .
And I want my 88 to be an absolute Herman Munster I dont know. But as the 2020’s go along I would be unfair not to shine a critical light on ceedee lambs side of our failures. I really couldn’t even tell you what he did wrong but I know he was there for it !
What I ponder now at this point is a few things as we chase a championship and at least watch ability
I’m looking at attitude and asset allocation
Right now Dallas is still all over the place. Too much on the OFFENSE LINE. But still somehow it has tons of holes.
Two stud wide receivers but a talentless defense?
Right now it still feels off. The mix still doesn’t feel right. One crucial drop or taunting penalty and now they punt jsut once and the entire game is over?
Maybe they need more bread n butter and less jelly n jam? I can’t believe this post is still going im hungry I think is what jsut happened here.
But no yea scroll to this part I agree with that choice ; here’s the question do you really care if cd is on the team next year? Great talent but this thing moves on yes?
Will you throw in a Grandpa Munster? Will you settle for a quarterback that looks like Herman Munster with tiny plums?
I'll see that and raise you one Uncle Fester. Will you throw in a Grandpa Munster?
I am sure I can count on him for at least one drop a game.what do I want on my Dallas cowboys team?

I feel the same about Lamb as I always have. Like him, don't love him.Okay...let's put this #88 silliness aside then.

Downs, Q, Booker, TSmith. Those are the 4 that would bring major assets back. Beebe would prolly bring a nice return also.I think CeeDee is one of few, if not the only player on the roster who can be traded and not be laugh at by other GMs in the league.
But it's not saying much.
I doubt there is a cowboy that any other team would really want.
They need more beans and rice. Let the air out of their backside and come back to earth. Humble yourself and get back to basics. Coaches need to forget about hurting each other's feelings and COACH!! Sounds simple, but we need more teamwork, players and coaches, on or off the field. Some will say, how do you know they aren't doing this, already? Look at the product, it's not hard to see.what do I want on my Dallas cowboys team?
