Not for me. Playing at home and beating what I believe will prove to be a bad team will not wipe away the bad impressions of week 1 for me. Be 3-2 after the Tampa game, that's what will start to lessen my disappointment in the head coach.

I would agree. I would also point out that this probably applies to the vast majority of wide receivers.

I bet Michael took plays off all. He wasn’t sprinting every play when Emmitt was running dive left.

Some of it’s also body language and smoothness. CeeDee makes it look easy

These guys are out there alone at the sideline. they know the play is on the other side of the field. Even when it’s to their side they are usually hoping they won’t have to block anyone.

They’re gladiators and thoroughbreds who only turn it on when they need to but otherwise conserve their strength.

I thought we should have traded him to some team like Tennessee for perhaps a 2nd round draft pick. New England might have bit too since they traded for Brown. Used that pick on a cheaper receiver or a linebacker and used the funds to fill in some other gaps in our team.

I think CeeDee is one of few, if not the only player on the roster who can be traded and not be laugh at by other GMs in the league.
But it's not saying much.
I doubt there is a cowboy that any other team would really want.

I jsut really like the cowboys. I used to read books about em when I was little in the back of the library.

I want them to be watchable and too often they look like amateurs

I want a handsome qb with a set of plums.
I want a running back that stands out above the entire league in some key aspect .

And I want my 88 to be an absolute Herman Munster I dont know. But as the 2020’s go along I would be unfair not to shine a critical light on ceedee lambs side of our failures. I really couldn’t even tell you what he did wrong but I know he was there for it !

What I ponder now at this point is a few things as we chase a championship and at least watch ability


I’m looking at attitude and asset allocation

Right now Dallas is still all over the place. Too much on the OFFENSE LINE. But still somehow it has tons of holes.

Two stud wide receivers but a talentless defense?

Right now it still feels off. The mix still doesn’t feel right. One crucial drop or taunting penalty and now they punt jsut once and the entire game is over?

Maybe they need more bread n butter and less jelly n jam? I can’t believe this post is still going im hungry I think is what jsut happened here.

He definitely has not had the impact that Amari Cooper hit the ground running with as a no.1 WR. Which means he is not a impact 88 like Clutch 88, Playmaker, and Dez.

I feel the same about Lamb as I always have. Like him, don't love him.

I do not like him being paid at the top of the market. Just don't think he's that type of WR. I think you could get the same production much cheaper.

It really appears to me that the current roster is in a changeable state of flux until such time as more reliable play becomes available with those being chosen to remain active. There's plenty of work to be done before this team's defensive personnel settles into what's likely to remain active. Here's hoping noticeable progress is soon to prove more obvious to the powers that be. In the meantime, we might expect changes to be commonplace. Today's game should factor into deciding who to trust, imho.

They need more beans and rice. Let the air out of their backside and come back to earth. Humble yourself and get back to basics. Coaches need to forget about hurting each other's feelings and COACH!! Sounds simple, but we need more teamwork, players and coaches, on or off the field. Some will say, how do you know they aren't doing this, already? Look at the product, it's not hard to see.
