Daks the only reason the Cowboys had a chance

Airman would never have bee
Apparently neither could Aikman according to the author of the Dak is Better Than Aikman thread.
Aikman would have never been in that spot in the first place. If handed a 4 point lead with just over 5 minutes to go in the game, Aikmans teams would have run that time off the clock behind Emmitt and that huge great OL. Game over, the other team never touches the ball again.
Killer instinct - this team hasn't had any of that for a long time. Its been DEER IN HEADLIGHTS for 30 years now.

Dak choked. The end. Yea he's better than Aikman. He had a chance to be the hero but he panicked. Don't care what Schotty told him. He has to make that play. Yea there are many other reasons the Cowboys loss but Dak had the ball in his hands with the game on the line. Elite qbs make that throw.
He needed to have one of those, "My headset's out" moments.

Cincinnati Bengals superstar quarterback Joe Burrow had the ball in his hands in the final two minutes of Sunday afternoon’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers with a chance to tie the game with a field goal or take the lead with a touchdown. Instead, Burrow fumbled, the Steelers recovered, and the Bengals lost the game.
And you think that's the same thing?

GOTI had 1st and goal at the 2 yard line on their first and last possession, came away with 6 points.

If somebody’s not open instantly, just throw the ball away,

I don’t know why they still didn’t try running the ball in,
And for the life of me, I don’t know why they kicked the ball into the end zone, to Baltimore rather than in the field of play
That’s being scared thinking they’re gonna run all the way back, that would’ve ran the clock out overtime, this was all on the coach and nobody else
There wasn't enough time to run and still get the FG unit out. But didn't they waste like 20 seconds right before that. Baltimore actually burnt a TO.

Dak can keep you in these types of games but he will never win. He’s always been good enough to start and win games, but don’t expect him to lead the team to victories against top tier opponents. That is not his leadership style.

That is correct.

However, Dak needs also a good coach and a defense who can stop the run at least.

He is not a elite qb, but he is the reason this team isn’t on bottom 10… yet.
And this team is why Dak isn't. Team sport, or not?

Nothings going to change after 11 years. He is who he is, it's up to Jerry Jones, the so called GM, to do something about it. We can witch and moan about it until we lose our vocal chords, nothing's going to change until Jerry says so. So go and thank your pissy owner for this.

So you're saying shut up and like it.

It was the entire team including the coaching staff. Mostly on the coaching staff.

Oh and what about the long FG try that was blocked. No one is talking about that.

Shotty is falling on the sword for Dak. I guarantee he said if the throw is there take it. If not throw it away. Well the play was there. But the play was not made.
The game was eventually tied with a FG after that no-play, so you are wrong. Schottenheimer's terrible play calling, in-game bad calls, and this defense's inability to hold an opponent under 30 points is what cost us the game.

Daks the only reason the Cowboys had a chance

The coward will hide in a corner when he knows he's wrong...he will not admit to it, nor try to discuss why he is wrong. He wants to blame the D game in, game out, yet I can't find one of his posts giving credit where credit is due, nor menioning 55 at least, once. It tells you all you need to know about many in here and their lack of objectivity. Williams almost averaged 5 yards/carry, but surely this had nothing to do with opening up our passing game?
