TRADED Porter traded to Cowboys (2027/6th round, 2028/2nd round)

[Coogiguy03]

When has Jerruh ever given this fanbase something to complain about??

For 30 years we've had everything in life to be happy about!!

[starfrombirth]

They were talking about this on G Bag. Saying he was poor in zone coverage. Much better in man. A 2nd in a good draft is a lot to give up.

The 2nd is in the 2028 draft, not this next draft.

[Blitzen]

Can be franchise tagged

He sounds like a guy that would respond really well to a franchise tag…

Hope he responds well to location of the ball when it's in the air

This will help…..with nothing.

[Blitzen]

This is just idiotic.

So the trade is basically a 2nd round pick for 13 games and a 3rd round comp.

I’ll remember that when the Cowboys Super Bowl parade starts a few months into 2027 and 28.

[JayFord]

This place kills me... just yesterday I read fans complaining that we were going to lose Porter to the giants. Now we get him and it's *** are we doing?

Oh if philly or ny got him at that price there would be 80 threads saying how stupid we were for not doing that

Im frustrated with Dallas like anyone else but theres certain posters here that dont live in reality

[StuckMojo]

So he will be asking for a big paycheck after the season?

[Risen Star]

Unstoppable.

Go player by player against any of Landry's doomsday defenses and then come back here to high five me.

I remember the same thing being said about Pickens. It's a 50/50 proposition.

[Blitzen]

He’s a shutdown corner who will excel in any defense. His success has nothing to do with Pittsburgh’s other defensive pieces. Kinda get Deion vibes but also great at run defense.

Top of the market.

[Ironicalicon]

Sure, why not. It won't fix anything but it'll help.

[youngjerryjones]

you don’t sign him you get a comp 3rd back - stop letting people tell you we sold the farm it’s likely a 20 pick difference and 2 years down the line

[RustyBourneHorse]

Not going to have a lot of picks. Then again, Jerry usually screws up in the second round anyway. And Porter Jr. is a beast. Him and Bland should be lethal.

This is a good point

Yeah right is that before or after his dad gets involved and all hell breaks loose

[RustyBourneHorse]

Honestly, I'm good with it
