A second round pick is a no brainer.

I wasn’t on board with a first but he’s definitely worth a second.

Man cover or not he’s head and shoulders above any CB we’ve had in a long long time

Cowboys fans are never happy. Jerry makes good trades and people are mad. Jerry does nothing and people are mad. I think some of you just like to be mad no matter what happens.

This was a good trade. Cb is a true need as far as we know DE trade is the next move. Cowboys fans can be a Debbie Downer. Just let the process play through before criticizing. It's the fans fault to think the Cowboys would be on the cust of a championship in 2026. With so many new coaches and players it takes time to build chemistry with so many moving parts in one season.

I don’t know why people are acting like we can’t make more moves. We aren’t one player away. So we NEED to make more moves.

The "we are not one move away" argument is dumb anyways. We need players. Whether we draft them or trade for them is largely irrelevant.

Porter is a bonfide #1 CB. We didnt have one, probably wouldnt have been able to draft one, and now we have one

Revel's coverage metrics have been very good. But we dont even know if he will be a legit #2 CB let alone a #1

This is an outstanding trade. You show me how many 2nd round picks are a better CB than Porter. I definitely don’t trust us to draft one better.

He isn't an interception machine, but he makes a lot of pass deflections and makes receivers drop passes knocking them out of their hands.
So I can't complain. Seems strong as well... seen him take down a few TEs easily.

People out too much value in picks. When the rams won the Super Bowl I think they made some trades everybody loved it.

Bottom line we have a window with Dak this year and next. If we are bad we’re rebuilding anyway. May as well go for it.

And all it costs is a 2nd. Why not
